We are using By Your Side-Sade. Was between that & Every Time I Close My Eyes-Babyface.

We're going to be dancing to "Truly Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden :o) and actually my FH picked it out. I definitely agree that although country songs are popular for first dances, it is definitely not our genre of choice either!

Hmm have you tried looking through the weddingwire songs pages? They have it organized by type of song and I like going through them for inspiration when I have time. The youtube link is included for each song too so you don't have to do extra searching to hear a little clip!

Oooh.. Just listened to it, and I really like "You Picked Me" by Fine Frenzy. Probably because whenever I'm being a brat and my FH is getting frustrated I like to remind him that he picked me!

4:26 is a little long to stand there and have everyone stare at you dancing, but I also like the idea of inviting the other married couples up to the dance floor approx 1/2 way through the song.

We are doing Journey "Faithfully" The song really fits us and we both love it!

We used "Grow Old With You" by Stephen Lynch. We almost went with Adam Sandler's version (Wedding Singer) until I heard the one by Stephen Lynch. We are BIG comedy fans and this just "fit" us.

We're doing Etta James "At Last" - we danced for the first time to that song when we just started dating and we both said while dancing that Etta was signing to us. :-)
