Anyone MORE excited for the honeymoon than the wedding!?

@ChampagneDream, I have a good friend who just went to Ireland for her honeymoon. She said it was the best trip she's ever been on. Her husband's roots are there so it was a very special trip for them. I cannot WAIT to go there someday. It's in my top 5 list

@Amanda, this is the Westin Lagunamar in Cancun. My dad has a timeshare and booked it with his points so I have no idea how expensive it would be otherwise (booking normally). If you're going to Cancun, I've heard the Riu Palace Peninsula is beautiful too.

I know understand why people have a honeymoon after the wedding. You are so stressed out from planning that you NEED a vacation. 2.5 more weeks and my butt will be on the beach in the Dominican Republic.

I'm super excited for the wedding but 50% of the time I am more excited for the honeymoon. 2 weeks away from everything in Florida. it is going to be blissful!

We are going to spend time in a hotel around where we live for a mini moon. Then we are going to save up to go to Tokyo, Japan in a couple of years.

I've only been engaged a little over two weeks (July 2!) and I've already begun researching the honeymoon!!! I'm so excited!! We are having a destination wedding - in Colombia...my entire family lives in South America except for me, my mom and my brother - so it's kind of hard to plan until I actually get there in September. In the mean time, I'm using my time to plan the perfect dream honeymoon!!! But I'm stuck on which island to visit!

I am excited aout my hoonymoon and a little scared my FH is planing the whole thing and it is a surprise i will not know where we are going till we ge there LOL. This was his idea and the only thing he has asked so I said yes.
