Anyone MORE excited for the honeymoon than the wedding!?

I've been saying the same thing to FH. We just booked our honeymoon to St. Lucia! I'm so excited to go away for a full week and be off

Me! I am excited for the wedding/mini-moon in the small mountain town we are marrying in - then on to Sonoma County!

Im also excited just fh and myself no kids no comments from others about the wedding no working overtime just enjoying us. Im staying in cancun as well. I.cant wait til we become one and on the beach enjoying each other.

Totally! I planned a honeymoon and then proposed the idea to my fiance and now we can't wait to go. We are a year and a month away still but we booked our place (just no flight, etc. yet) but we decided to go to Maui and we have a penthouse condo for 9 nights and I can't WAIT!

YES! FH and I have been saying this all week. We are down to 20 days to go and this hectic pace has been ridiculous and wedding prep is just insane. The wedding is a lot of details, a lot of work, and very expensive. Plus we have to worry about pleasing a whole bunch of other people and we have to be in the spotlight all day, which I hate. The honeymoon is just me and him, away from everyone's watchful eyes and unwelcome opinions. I think the honeymoon is exactly what we need as a reward for working so hard to do this whole wedding thing. We had a little date night last night for around 3 hours. no wedding stuff. no work. just us having fun together and enjoying each other's company. it was medicine for the soul I tell ya - and the honeymoon will be more of the same! we can hardly wait!

At this point, yes! I cannot wait to be on a beach in Hawaii with my husband!
