Try David’s or sample sales at bridal stores. I picked up my $650 reception dress for less than $200 because it was discontinued.

View Quoted Comment Agee! Honestly I couldn’t find anyone I trusted so I went with a place referred by BHLDN and I’m sure because of they dhe increases her prices. I had the entire top of the dress altered and that was a lot. She had to remove all the lace and take wiring and cups out. The designer is notorious for not knowing where woman’s boobs should go apparently lol. Then I had some loops popped on back that needed to be replaced, needed to be hemmed which was a scalloped bottom so very detailed and a bustle put it. A lot but also not cause it fit the rest fine. Regardless I’m glad I got it at a great price so after alterations I wasn’t super over budget.
