I'm thinking reggae and/or the beach boys (and similar music) during cocktail hour. Something easygoing and fun.

    Love your playlist!

We are thinking of having as our processional the instrumental or maybe the vocal of "This is the Moment". Yes, it's from the musical "Jekyll & Hyde", but it's a beautiful song and also the first musical we went to see together.

I, too, will play Lauryn Hill- Cant Take My Eyes Off of You. This song will be my Mother & son dance. My son is 22 years old now but when he was a baby I always sang this to him. For a long time it was just me and him and he was my world. He will be walking me down the isle too.

Another song we will incorporate somewhere will be Adam Sandler - Grow Old With You. It's so quirky and sums up our simple, unselfish love for one another.

Well- we have collectively decided that our "exit song" from the Chapel will be Hakunah Matata.

FH sings that song all the time- it's literally his problem-free philosophy hahaha.

We're playing "Jump in the Line" from the Beetlejuice soundtrack. It's one of our favorite songs to dance around the house/in the car to Smiley smile

Hm. Well our processional song for our bridal party is the song in the lost finale where they all figured out theyve been dead the whole time. "Life and death" so i guess thats a little

Strange. But fh and i use to watch lost religiously when we started dating so its fitting.

All of our other songs during recepion besides mother son dance are bruce springsteen somgs. Because, well, we are obsessed. We even got engaged at one of the concerts we went too. Too much?

Bridal Entrance Song: FIFA's Theme; piano version from Final Fantasy VIII

First Dance: Muse - Unintended (this is"our song")

Father/Daughter Dance: Led Zeppelin - Going to California (My dad HATES country music, so no country songs will be had, and my dad had me *listening * to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd before I was born)

Mother/Daughter dance: Undecided, but ideally something by Elton John

Processional music: Instrumental music that begins on every Final Fantasy game

Last Dance: Muse - Can't Take My Eyes Off of You

And that's as far as I've gotten. Smiley smile

All of our entrance songs will be fairly traditional, but we decided to have Walkin' on Sunshine for our recessional

Yep. I have a crazy range of music that i love, everything from marylin manson to lil kim. We are planning an alternative rock/punk cocktail hour (actually 2 hours). Then save the rap for the reception. My father daughter dance is going to be nothing else matters by Metallica.

For our reception entrance, we're doing the Imperial March (Darth Vader theme. FH's idea) We're doing a lot of Zeppelin, Beatles, The Cure...

Our recessional song is an acoustic version of a Shinedown song "I'll Follow You".

I think our entrance into the reception is going to be Cult of Personality -- apparently some wrestler (CM Punk?) uses is and it's FH's favorite so I'm giving him that one. lol.
