    So far...

    Entrance- Love You Madly -Cake

First Dance- More Today Than Yesterday -Spiral Staircase (possibly mixed with the Goldfinger version)

Father/Daughter dance- My Little Girl -Tim McGraw (dad's a HUGE country and Tim McGraw fan)

Garter Toss- Girls Girls Girls -Motley Crue

Bouqet Toss- You Can't Hurry Love -Diana Ross & The Supremes

Last Song- Save the Last Dance for Me -The Drifters

Treat Me Nice by Elvis is a MUST play. Smiley laugh

We both love oldies :] Some of these are still just ideas.

I love everyone's playlist. Picking out the music has been my favorite part of the planning so far! It adds so much character to the wedding and picking fun music doesn't cost any extra money! Smiley smile

While people are being seated before our ceremony, we're playing classic rock- Zeppelin, AC/DC... I think it'll be a great way to set the tone of the wedding. Also when we told our DJ that we wanted this, he instantly became really excited for our wedding!

Processional: All I Want Is You- Barry Louis Polisar

Recessional: Joy to the World- Three Dog Night

Reception Entrace: Crazy Train- Ozzy Osbourne

First Dance: The Way I Am- Ingrid Michaelson

    Last Song: Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen

Final Song (as people are packing it up and saying good byes): So Long And Thanks For All The Fish (From the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, FH's absolute favorite book and movie)

We are doing fiddles and string music during cocktail hour and dinner. Sounds crazy, but our venue was built in 1858 so it totally fits. We found a band called Iron Horse that does a blue grass cover of popular rock songs. Weird, right?

This is an Iron Horse cover of Enter Sandman by Metallica. We thought it'd be funny to slip some of these into the music here and there to see how many people notice. We have a lot of musicians attending.

I told my DJ that I don't care what he plays, but as long as he plays the Buffalo Bills shout song (I'm originally from Buffalo and a die hard Bills fan!), I'll make sure he gets paid Smiley smile

I get the sense that we're kind of in our own boat with music as neither FW nor I have any huge requests. We're pretty much letting the DJ run the show (which is more than fine by us!). The only set songs we have are our first dance (Ray LaMontagne's "You are the Best Thing") and our Father/Daughter Dances ("Isn't She Lovely" acoustic version by Livingston Taylor). 40 seconds till the end of that song (it's pretty short, I think about 2:55), our dads will each cut in to dance with their new daughter. We're so excited for that!

Our prelude is a combo of classical and rennaisance dance music.

First non-traditional thing we are doing is me and my escort are "dancing" down the aisle to Entree Courante which is a 16th century Pavan. It's a processional song and the man who is escorting me down the aisle is the guy who made me realize that I had something to offer the world again after a horrific abusive relationship.

Our recessional is PDQ Bach's Four Seasonings if I have my way! (Still not nailed down)

Then our entrance into the reception is to Darth Vaders Imperial March under a light saber arch.

And then our first dance is going to be something by Anne Murray

While guests are coming in to the reception this is where I actually got to put my touch on the music we're playing the instrumental Disney wedding songs. FH said fine since he won't have to hear it, we will be taking pictures lol. I'm not much of a music fan at all... I just wanted little quirks of us thrown through out the wedding. I figured music was the least offensive way to throw in some Disney. Lol

My husband and I walked down the aisle as husband and wife to the Star Wars theme. Afterwards while taking pictures we heard the preacher dismiss the guests and said "Star Wards. What can you expect from two engineers."
