Any other nyc brides getting married in Aug ‘20?!

Hi everyone!

My wedding date is set for 8/22/20 at a venue in Long Island. I haven’t sent out invites or finished getting all my vendors (like DJ or flowers) since we’re not sure if our wedding will go on as planned or we’ll have to postpone. Last month we spoke to our venue vendor and she said our wedding is still yet to go on. We have another deposit coming up so we’re going to check in again for updates.

Any other NYC brides getting married in Aug? Would be super helpful to hear how your wedding planning is going or if you had to postpone your date.

    Hi, and welcome!

    It's so hard to know what LI is going to look like by August. We're certainly past the peak, here in the NYC metro area, but ... it's a long road.

    Best advice we have is: Have a Plan B, be flexible, and don't make decisions until you *have* to.
