Praying for the best, I’m debating if we should just cut down our guest list in half. Even if restrictions are lifted I can’t imagine everything would be completely back to normal by June.
Literally me CONSTANTLY. I’m 11.08.2020 —- I’m not “worried” but it’s crossed y mind a few times but my heart goes out to all my spring, summer and early fall brides !! Ahhh why can’t this just end !!!!!!?????
I’m supposed to get married June 6th. I’m pretty sure we are going to have to postpone... making a decision in the next week or so. I’m finding it hard to plan the last details anyway with everything being closed...my dress alterations aren’t even close to being done.... I’m so sad.
Our original date was supposed to be June 19. I just emailed my venue yesterday to postpone to June 25, 2021. I have too many older or compromised guests to take the risk. Also, we have my FH’s entire family coming from out of state and we would be heartbroken if they couldn’t come. We’re still planning on getting married this summer and having the June 25, 2021 date as a “vow renewal”. Lots of things will be “not traditional,” like my shower (got cancelled), but this isn’t a “normal” situation.

Thanks everyone.... yes it’s a hard decision. It is hard to book any last minute things plus my dress still have to get alterations. Our family is all here so we don’t have to worry about traveling family which is a good thing.
Our wedding was scheduled was supposed to be June 19th. Our venue is postponing all of their weddings in May and June. Our venue and major vendors were pretty booked on Friday's and Saturday's in the fall so we had to push it back to May 2021. It was a heartbreaking decision :'(
Hi Dana! It's definitely a crazy time of stress and uncertainty for everyone! Right now it sounds like most couples are waiting a few more weeks before making any final decisions about their June Weddings, but being proactive about plan b might give you more peace of mind!
