Any brides go the TOMS route?

Okay, so. FH is 6'5", I'm 5'5". I am dreadful in heels. I've always been particular about wearing Toms as a bride, only because I love them in general. Okay, so. FH is 6'5", I'm 5'5". I am dreadful in heels. I've always been particular about wearing Toms as a bride, only because I love them in general. I went to a store yesterday and tried the strappy looking wedges and they were SO narrow (I don't have wide feet and fit regular toms just fine) and my pinky toe was poking out all weird.

But do any of you ladies plan to wear these, have these, worn these style of wedges? Were they comfortable? Did they cramp the toes?

And I guess in general, are wedges easier to walk in/be comfortable in than regular heels?

Picture is just an example, I might not get these exact ones, but they're more enclosed.

I live in my TOMS! I was going to wear some gorgeous lacy ones, but then I fell in love with custom bride and groom converse.

I wore blue lace Toms. They were super comfortable except at my pinky toes because I didn't stretch them enough before the wedding.

I would NOT order half a size up. I would order the size you usually wear in Toms, but plan on stretching them out. My toes stuck out a bit at first, but if I had ordered a larger size they would have fallen off my feet once they were stretched out.

I have this style (enclosed peep-toe). They are SO comfortable. I wear mine to work basically every day in the summer. But definitely break them in beforehand, the canvas is a little scratchy at first.

Maybe buy both and do the wedges for pictures and the ceremony, then change. I have a wedding to go to in a few weeks. I am pregnant with twins, so any kind of a heel is a no go for me at this point. I plan on wearing my TOMS (I still need to find a dress that accomodates my growing belly). It's going to be on a ranch and fairly casual, so I feel good about getting more use out of the shoes.

I just bout some sparkly silver BOBS (Sketchers brand) on sale online-not even for the wedding, but now I am leaning towards wearing those. I have started wearing Bobs recently at work and the cushioning in them is amazing. I don't even need to wear my hell cups that I use for my Plantar fasciitis.

I should probably just not comment but I seriously hate the look of TOMS. They don't look bridal AT ALL to me. I'd put them on the same ugly shelf as crocks and uggs. Also footwear that I would never dream of wearing to a wedding even as a guest.

I'm going to be wearing TOMS. Mostly because my wedding is at a ski resort and the ceremony is at the top of the mountain and I reeeeeally don't want to walk around on the mountain in heels. Not sure which ones I will get yet though.

My MOH wore flat lace toms and loved them. Another bridesmaid wore TOMS wedges (different style than yours I believe) and was also very very happy. She was drunk by the end of the night and still wearing them.

I wore the strappy Tom wedges and they were perfect! Easily wore them all night but I also wear Tom wedges often.

Pic- the only time my shoes were really seen anyway.
