It's never really too early, popular venues and photographers can book up especially quick, sometimes more than a year in advance. A year and a half (if you're set on April 2021) is a good time to start booking your major vendors

My wedding is March 2021! We got engaged in December 2018 so we started with a little over 2 years to plan. We booked our venue (which includes catering) in May, and I have already done tons of research on other vendors, budgeting, dresses etc. You might find some vendors tell you that they do not book this far in advance (this was an issue with a few venues we saw) but you can still tour and meet with them, and then jump on your date as soon as they open up booking.

I say it is never too early!

My FH and I aren't even engaged yet (he's planning to propose in December or January and he already has the ring and has asked my parents. All that's left is to pop the question) so I've started planning a little bit here and there. I have a HUGE family, so even just putting together a manageable guest list was a nightmare for me. I don't think it's ever too early to start planning because you want to enjoy your engagement, rather than spend your whole time as a fiancee stressing about wedding details. Don't get too ahead of yourself but planning now can save you stress (and hopefully money) in the future!

Nope, not at all. Our wedding is April 2021 too and we have a lot of our big stuff booked already. Plenty of time we just wanted to be able to enjoy the planning and try get the vendors we loved. Keep in mind we booked our venue back in May and every weekend of the summer for 2021 was already gone! There's no hurry, but I say start looking and booking now, you have the time so why not!

You're good! I got engaged in Feb. 2018 and had everything big done by the end of march 2018, and we don't get married until April of next year! We did wait on bridesmaid dresses and my dress until this year though!

So I wanted a outside beach wedding, then I changed my mind I'm thinking about a starlite cruise wedding. Can use upper deck and still be outside and also inside if anything happens as far as weather. Has anyone ever been to a wedding on a starlite cruise and do u guys think it's a good idea.
