My wedding is June 6th in Ohio. As a state, we are opening up slowly starting May 1st. We have already paid our venue & they are heavily sought after. The next date they for sure have available is 2022. Our wedding is outdoors & the reception is also held on sight. The venue has also told us to remain positive as they are revamping some things to enable proper social distancing. I’m just always so anxious about everything. Help a girl out pleaseeeee.

Would you be ok with a smaller guest count (i.e. 50 or less)? If so, it's sounding positive and likely to happen if they are opening things up in your state already and the venue is talking about working with social distancing guidelines!! I'm in California and there's no end in sight, our Governor won't even give us a rough estimate of when we can begin opening things up, even with restrictions. Sending positive vibes your way for June 6th!!

How many of your guests will have to travel? Is it mostly family or a large mixture of of friends and family? I’d say a smaller guest count will be expected, but I’d also think if it is mostly family you’ve invited and they don’t have to travel many will probably attend since they will know most of the other guests. The issue will come with those your most vulnerable guests won’t know that will make them uneasy to participate.

How many guests? If you're OK with 50 or less, I think you may be okay. Ohio is planning on slowly opening things up starting May 1, but I feel like large gatherings will be one of the last things allowed.

I think you will be able to have your wedding. It may be a smaller guest list but many people are anxious to get out and live again.

We’re in a similar position but later in the summer. We’re supposed to be 8/8 but we have a 200 person guest list. I have a very large Italian family haha! We have older grandparents and some out of town guests. We also live in New York. Not sure, the wedding is happening. But we’re hopeful for something small, maybe 50 people in August. Crossing our fingers that restrictions are lifted enough for that. Best of luck! I hope you get your gorgeous day as planned. This is such a crazy time, and I feel so deeply for all the brides out there! We shouldn’t have to ever make decisions like this during the “happiest” time of our lives!

Hi Megan! I think it might depend upon the size of your guest list like the previous posters have said!

You're definitely not alone right now! ❤️ There are a ton of June brides also talking about their Covid19 concerns in these discussions:
