My mom thinks we have gone off my rocker . I just love the clean, crisp, modern look of a all white affair. I even want my guest to where all white as well.

Oh, just realized that you have your heart set on having a dress code that asks guests to wear white. I've heard of white parties, but usually, that's a themed party -- not a wedding. Weddings are a little different. The purpose is the union of two people, and while the celebration might feature a theme of some sort, it doesn't usually require the guests to do anything more than attend the celebration, and during the course of the day, they admire your thematic elements.

I'd go to a wedding that asked me to wear white, but I'd probably wear a white top and black dress slacks. Sorry...I don't own anything all white, and I'd have to purchase a dress that was formal enough for a wedding.

Eh, I had a hard enough time picking out a wedding dress because I hate white. If you don't mind if I show up wearing tan, then we're good. lol

IMO it sounds like fun. And if your guests will like it, then awesome.

But I also see a few people in the pics wearing other colors then white. Sure not bright orange or anything, but not exactly 100% white.

Are you open to black and white? Most people have something black in their closet already, and if they choose to get white even better.

It'd look nice and I think you could ask your guests to participate, but lets say someone comes in blue or black - are you going to deny their entry? Say sorry, you can't come in? I've seen celebrities (I think KK did B&W, right?) have these theme weddings and yes, it's easy for millionaire friends to make it look all glam, but to require the event to be a certain way just so it's pretty is a completely different thing.

I'm easily amused too especially when in January you posted that your colors were eggplant purple, magenta/fuschia, silver with hints of lavender. In February your colors changed to a chevron pattern of grey and yellow. I suppose at some point your real colors or lack thereof will be revealed.

Seriously? The title of your post says "Am I crazy" which is a question. People are answering that question. I can read just fine.

Samantha, no one gives a rats a$$ what colors anyone chooses or how many times they change their mind. If someone wants to ask if they're crazy and then gets sarcastic when people don't rush to tell them they have the best idea ever then they need to either put on their big girl panties and accept the comments or not ask the question in the first place. To be perfectly blunt I also don't give a fig what any of the vendors post since the only reason they're here is for self-promotion and to claim otherwise is disingenuous. I must have missed the post where you were voted the arbiter of when or how often anyone responds to a post.

MJ, Shame on you for not believing your lying eyes that those pics were all white.

Wow seriously?! No wonder so many girls left this place. They got tired of all the bullshit. Who gives a shit if she changed her mind on the colors/theme. We all come on here for support whether its for a unique idea or drama with family and the WP.

Everybody seems to be so caught up with tradition and etiquette but can't be courteous. How about if you don't have anything nice to say dont say anything at all. No need to attack someone for their personal preference on things. I think it's a nice idea and OP is being very civil about this attack on her which I can't say for some of you.

Well Carole (and my middle name is the same) if you don't value the information and help that vendors post here the don't read it.

Don't make your guests wear anything. Let them be guests.

If all you're looking for is someone to say something nice, then just call home. Seriously. If you want objective advice, then ask a question and actually listen to the answers.
