Alternative guest books (need ideas)

I have canvases my friend is painting a tree on and then we will have guests fingerprint on the tree "leaf your fingerprint on our love tree to help it grow" I wanted art to display

We are using this frame from BBB. So guests write on the heart shaped chips then drop them in the frame! We will also have a sign next to it saying, "Please sign a heart to wish the couple a happy start"

Etsy has some awesome alternative guest books!

Yes! The chips and frame came all together! It also comes with markers for the guests to write with.

So I had the same plan initially that you did but then I bought my daughter one of those cameras and the pictures are very iffy with dark lighting. So I would definitely take that into consideration. Our plan now is to use our engagement photos in a guest book on shutterfly so it will be more traditional but we will also actually look at it from time to time. I recommend looking on etsy at alternative guest books for more ideas, im sure youll find something great!

We are doing the Polaroid book, but I love the ones I’ve seen on this post!

I thought of doing a guestbook with an instax camera but we are doing a photo booth so it seems kind of redundant so I think I am going to go with something framed that we could hang up afterward. I am kind of nerding out for this Hogwarts castle frame!

Guest Book Ideas

We're getting married in a distillery, and using a barrel head as a guest book. I picked it up a few weeks ago and I can't wait to have it hanging in our house!

We had record labels designed and are having guests sign the records with silver markers

Here is ours. We got the letter at Hobby Lobby on sale for like $12 I think.

We are doing a puzzle with a sign with a cute saying about how they're a piece of our puzzle.

I'm doing a canvas with a tree and everyone signs a leaf. Etsy is a really good place for guest book ideas!

I ordered a large board with our names for everyone to sign. Going to hang it in our living room so we can always see it. Got it from Etsy and the girl was great. Good luck

I got a personalized wooden cover guest book with black pages. We got an Instamax camera and some glue dots and gel pens for people to sign the book under their pictures. I also made up a quick instructions sign for the camera so everyone can use it easily!

We're doing a wine jug with signed corks to match our centerpieces (we're using assorted wine bottles as bud vases).

I just finished staining a 24 inch letter I’ll be using for our guestbook! I’m going to add out wedding date to the bottom in white vinyl and then seal it and have everyone sign in white and silver sharpie. Letter was $17 at ac Moore and stain was $5 for a small sample can.

Our theme is celestial, and we aren't really doing astrology, per se (more astronomy), but I ordered a 2020 calendar with novas and so on that I'm going to have people jot down their names on their birthdays. I was also having a hard time with even having a reason to do a guest book, and I didn't want a permanent display of others' names in our home, so the calendar hit all the right spots without offending my astrology-shy family members.

I had my book gifted to me by my MOHs and it was personalized. Every page had our names and wedding date, very beautiful. I bought a polaroid and lots of film and had my bridesmaids in charge of the book. Each guest got a page to sign and had at least 2 photos. They all had a normal photo and a funny and sometimes a third one very random. I love looking at it now.
My advice: don’t rent a polaroid! Buy one, is amazing and you can create lifetime memories with it.
