After the wedding- dress Inspo needed

You could shorten it then use the extra skirt material for a cape or just a separate skirt.

You could either dye the whole dress or put in perhaps a color lining (blue? black?) and add straps to make the dress a little less formal -- but it could be kept formal too.

I'm planning on getting mine shortened to like tea/ midi length to wear for anniversaries and then have the extra material made into a christening gown for any kids we might have in the future. I think it would be neat to have the veil made into a cape or caplet if it's possible.

I've also heard of having just the bodice made into a corset-style top or having the dress made into lingerie, a Christmas tree skirt, a table cloth, or using the scrap material to line a shadow box with other mementos from the day.

I was thinking about using some of the tulle to make a tulle skirt for sure. That's the first thing that came to mind. I hadn't thought of a different liner and changing the straps though!! that's an interesting idea

Oooo now the lingerie idea is definitely something to consider.... my husband isn't sure how I'd use the top o the dress and I could totally see that being an option- especially as the top is already see through with the exception of the cups.
