Advice on 2 ceremonies

With all this covid panic I’m having to think of some back up plans.. my wedding is June 13 and I’m still keeping faith all will be well but if not I want to keep my date with like a small ceremony just me my groom and our parents with the preacher (since courthouse isn’t open on Saturday ) and then have my ceremony and reception later after all this is cleared up my question is have any other brides done it this way? Was the ceremony after still special? I’m not planning on wearing my actual dress till the actual ceremony to make it as exciting as it can be and also I’d hate to wear it only a short time after spending so much

I'm sorry you're having to go through this stress before your wedding, but this is a great time to think about your Plan B. Some June brides are waiting a bit longer before making postponement decisions, but everyone's situation is different. Have you decided on a deadline to officially postpone the larger wedding plan?
