You do you!! Smiley smile I think that's perfectly reasonable, especially if you couldn't imagine it in the first place!!

Yes, this makes a lot of sense!!! I know I'd be hopping on the phone to find a babysitter the moment I saw something remotely like a wedding envelope!

Awesome decision!! How many kids are in your wedding party? Are they younger or older?

We have kids coming, we're going to set some butcher paper and coloring pages out with crayons for them. We have so much family with kids, and our wedding is in the morning and our reception is in the afternoon. We're having an after party afterwards with our bridal party and a few cousins - and that has no kids Smiley smile

Kid's welcome to a certain point. My niece and nephew will be our flower girl and ring bearer and we don't want them to be the only kids there. We are allowing kids up to a certain group of people.

Co-workers-no kids. Friends-no kids. Family (up to 2nd cousins) kids allowed

All of these are, of course, at the parent's discretion! No one HAS to bring kids, but some will be welcome.

Kids are welcome... We were going to have only the kids in the wedding attend, but a good majority of our family have littles.

Hey Alexandra!! Do you mean that you're having 17 kids at your wedding or that only you're only allowing kids who are 17 to come?

I’m in the same boat. Idk what to do. Everyone we know has MULTIPLE children who I adore. But I am worried about people having to tend to their children rather than having fun and possible damage to the venue not to mention food costs. There are just as many kids if not more than there are adults.

Kid friendly, because my family is huge and there are so many kids that not allowing their entire family come prevents them from even attending.

Still deciding, but leaning for adults only! It's hard to make the decision because we know some feelings will be hurt.

No kids unless it’s immediate families kids (nieces and nephews)

SO wish mine was adults only, but FH has a huge family with lots of kids, so that wouldn't have worked. They'll be fun on the dance floor though!

Agreed. Although the kids that could potentially go have be known to throw shoes at people at funerals so I can't trust they will behave

I'm trying to figure out a compromise. We definitely want the kids there - our own kids, nieces, nephews, and friends' kids are all a big part of our life and we can't imagine celebrating without them. But we also want to party late into the night, and some of the kids are going to crash! I'm hoping we can arrange for a couple of the grandparents to take the little ones home, or hire some outside help.
