Okay, need some help. Totally irritated and not sure what to do. I have two women in my bridal party that are due, one is a month before and the other is due 2 and a half months. They have known before being pregnant that the event was adult only. And I told them that my fiance and I will pay for a sitter for the 5 hours during the ceremony and reception while still being at the venue. This allows easy access and protection for the babies. One of them doesn't seem willing to have a stranger basically just watch as they can check on the babies as they please. What do I do?

I am fully aware of post-partum and neonatal issues. I believe a lot of people blew up over my wording. And missed the whole point. Which was about a sitter. I have found another solution. Thank you.

Thank you for understanding my situation and I agree it is very hard to have a discussion with them. Because you know that they can't put their lives on hold. But it isn't like it was a surprise knowing the wedding had to be changed due to covid. We will have to have some in person discussions and figure out the best solution if they even do come to the wedding. One is my MOH which makes it more difficult. But I honestly would be surprised if she came since she is due so close to the wedding and you never know what is going to happen.

Thank you. I believe I will bring that up as an option for them.

Thank you for being on my side and understanding how I feel. I am glad I brought up the sitter ahead of time and will be having individual conversations with each mother to be. I believe I will just see if it would be okay to have one of the significant others (the other is in the grooms party) to watch both infants (if they come due to possible complications) during the ceremony. And make other accommodations during the reception for what will work for them and for my husband and I. We will just have to make it work regardless. If they weren't in my bridal party I am fairly certain neither would come. And what ever they choose. I will respect. I am shocked at how fast people were on this site to judge me and call me selfish (it's our day). Especially when I was looking for constructive help not being attacked. So thank you so much for your support and understanding me.

Okay, to everyone who has commented thank you. I have figured out my possible solutions. And do not need any further commenting on what to do. PS to everyone who misunderstood my wording, chill. I did not mean for it to sound malicious. It was a fresh situation and I was processing the reaction I received. But I feel we are all trying to make our days special and how we want it. So judging and being rude doesn't help the bride to be understand her etiquette issues. It can make them more defensive. I appreciated everyone's opinions. It will all work out in the end.
