Addressing thank you notes to guest and plus one

What is the etiquette for sending a thank you note for a gift signed by an invited guest and their plus one (who I haven't met yet because the gift was sent before the wedding)? Do I send one note to her and address it to both of them? Try to get his address and send two notes? Or can I just send the thank you note to her, mentioning that I'm looking forward to meeting her boyfriend at the wedding?

    I would send one note to your invited guest's address but make it out to both your guest and her boyfriend.

    I would send it to the person you know and address it and focus it on both of them.
