Adding straps to a wedding dress

Jennifer, on February 15, 2016 at 6:41 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

Hey ladies! I purchased a sweetheart strapless dress that I absolutely love. However I do not like strapless dresses and I want to add straps or a halter strap. Anyone add straps to their wedding dress? I would love to see pictures and appreciate any advice!! Thanks!

Is love to see this too. There are so many beautiful dress but I'm too self conscious for strapless. I'd love to see some pics from ladies who have added straps.

I'm adding straps. They are lace. They are gorgeous. I don't have a picture!!! Let me see if I can find one!

Similar to these 2, except mine is ivory and my dress is all lace. It comes from the allure bridal collection, but I'm adding to my essence of Australia dress, so it's versatile. It was about $200 to purchase the cap sleeves Smiley smile

I am going to add cap sleeves to my dress. It hasn't come in yet though. The store ordered extra of the fabric that the dress is made of so they can add the cap sleeves.

I had to have straps for my Catholic ceremony so I had my seamstress make snap in straps that I could pull off later.

I'm actually going to add detachable straps. I originally wanted them and everyone else thought I looked good without them so I am going to wear the straps for the ceremony and then take them off for the reception.

Nothing to add, but please change your avatar to something other than the rings! They are associated with spam/trolls so it will help you get more responses. Thanks!
