Actual wedding date date ideas

Sorry you had to postpone! I definitely recommend planning something fun for your original date. My fiance and I planned a weekend trip with a few friends for our original date! We went wine tasting, visited some really good restaurants, and had a bonfire at an Airbnb. I also put together a gift basket for my fiance with COVID-wedding-themed coffee mugs, wine glasses, candy, etc. to give to him on our original date. We also had bought a mini cake from our cake baker for us to share on that day too. It ended up being a really fun weekend.

Other ideas that you could do are: a trip somewhere (either somewhere you've never been or one of your favorite places), a date night out in your town, movie night, spa day, staying in and cooking a meal together, etc. Plenty of options! Definitely do something to make it special, and make it a day to look forward to!

We had a little cookout (which is allowed in my state) with close friends and family that would have been at the wedding. we also used this opportunity to show off the house we bought at the beginning of this year bc we were never able to have a housewarming due to covid. I had my friend make a cake and I wore my wedding jewelry and shoes and a cute white dress, I decorated a little bit with wedding themed things. it was a great way to still celebrate the day
