A new way to make money at your wedding

In the process of saving pics from social media to do my non-pro BAM and came across this lovely idea from a wedding one of my friends was in yesterday: they auctioned off the garter and made over $1000. I have never heard of such a thing, but maybe I'm out of the loop on tacky ideas. This is taking dollar dances and cake smashing money jars to a whole new level!

P.S. Between graduation and moving and the wedding, I've been MIA for the last three weeks. Missed you ladies!

Ew. I would not spend any amount of money on a piece of fabric that has been on a womans leg all day.

These were my thoughts exactly! I'm so glad we didn't do a garter toss....my legs were rivers of sweat under my ball gown!

I would avoid the people who bid on it, because they'd have to be pretty weird to want it. Especially to spend that much on it.
