a lighthearted discussion.. The moment you knew

How sweet we were one month in I was telling him how I couldn’t date outside of the house I was a single mom to 7 at the time he said that’s okay how about our date nights include watching movies with the kids , I loved him then he has taken on the role of all 7 ‘s dad and does a great job he loves me and treats me amazingly I love him so much and the greatest part it doesn’t take much to love him no effort at all it’s easy to love him never had that before

For me it was love at first sight. but we were young and had a lot of growing up to do. i knew it was forever when we were in college, not even dating or together but just good friends and we stayed in touch a lot, hung out every break when he would come home and talked seriously about our post college plans. we each had each other in our plans. i considered him my best friend

And my son took to my fiance instantly. It was so cute he couldn't say his name, Caesar, so he called him sneezer lmao. We tease him about it now hes 8. It definitely played a big part into how I felt, and they have a great relationship.

I went in the same student organization ash him. I never had any feeling before, even though I noticed he kept looking at me and looked away when I caught him. I didn’t say anything. A friend of us told me that he has feelings for me and that he is one hell of a smart guy. I was like “cool”. So he continued to secretly staring at me and more and more friends started noticing and some told me. I was 16 and I wasn’t looking. One day my dad gifted me ice skating shoes. I am a roller skater since a kid. I had no one to ask to teach me ice skating. One day we met in the library and I don’t know, the words just fell out of my mouth and I asked him “Do you know how to ice skate?” He said “yes”. We met at ice skating rink and we walked in the rink and shockingly >>> he can not ice skate<<<!!! We both were holding each other to stay up 🤣. We laughed so hard, I fell in love at that moment, on that spot.


23 years of marriage, I think my respect towards him is bigger than anything other feelings I have. He wasn’t always good, but he is willing to do his best in the end, and he put me first. When we had a big fight, he told me I am his home and cried while telling me to never leave him. My heart melted ❤️ He is a keeper! He is obsessed with me.

I knew I was in love because his humor and his jovial nature have always brought warmth into my stressful moments. We met through work, and though he moved to a different company after we started dating I staid where I was for awhile. No matter how stressed I got, no matter how down I was about work, he always made me laugh. And I knew he was not when I came home from a long day and just wanted to curl up with him. We've been each other's backbone ever since.

I love telling this story, he kind of doesn’t believe it still. My FH and I were really good friends in high school and we liked each other, but neither of us acted on it. After 10 years of not seeing each other, we met up for our first date on Christmas night. I got into his truck and it felt like we missed no time at all and that’s when I knew that this was it. It was such a different feeling than I’ve had with anyone else before and I thought a few people before him were it. But we were just in his truck, talking in person for the first time in so long and I knew I would never walk away from him again.

Oh that is such a cute story. I am you when we were friends and I had particularly asked him a question about what other Career choices he had considered. And he said he thought about being a lawyer but he ended up not doing it because he wanted to be in a field where he was not needing to step on others. He is a school counselor and I thought that really matched who he was as a person because he is considerate and thoughtful and I just knew immediately that this was the kind of person I want to be with

We went on a company outing and a group of us went out to the bars later on. My FH and I didn’t say a word but danced that night and we both knew from that night on we were going to get together ❤️

I guess I have an unusual story. I’m older. I’m a widow as is my FH. I’ve known his family for over 20 years! Anyway, we knew each other’s spouses and were friends. My husband passed away, and unfortunately his wife passed 5 or 6 months later. Both were 57. We were devastated and going through a hard time. Since we were friends, we would talk about the difficulties and navigating a new normal. Long story short, after some time we fell in love and started dating. This goofy wonderful man keeps me laughing! I knew I loved him when we were walking in the woods talking and helped me over a log. He had such warm hands and kind eyes! We’re getting married Oct 9, 2021. We feel blessed to have each other!

I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and asked him to be my date after only dating about 2 months. Not only did this kid meet me at the reception right after work with no dinner, but it was in a place he was not familiar with let alone with people he barely knew. And then he had the audacity to help the groom and groomsmen help clean up the space after the reception.

My friend's father said to me, "this guy his a keeper, don't let him go". And I didn't.....

We met on the internet. We started txting back and forth before the first date. I thought if he is half of the person he seems, I’m going to like this guy. Then about a week later he walks into the restaurant and I was smitten. He was all of that and more. Our first date lasted about 24 hours with him sleeping in my recliner. (So unlike me to let a man I just met in my house). I knew I’d marry him that night. I didn’t want him to leave. Still crazy about him 4 1/2 years later. We’d be married now if it wasn’t COVID

We had just gone to a baseball game in Cincinnati; it was the first time I'd met his mom and sister so I'd been a bucket of nerves! We had stopped at a gas station to get drinks and gas because we had a 4 hour drive ahead of us and when we came outside from the station, it was POURING rain. I adore rain so I immediately took off my shoes and began trotting around in it. He followed me and then said, "c'mon, we gotta get to the car!" So I turned to follow him; he immediately turns around, grabs ahold of me, kisses me deeply, and then grins and says, "there! Now you can say you've been kissed in the rain!" And that's when I knew!
