"I hate to disagree with the other posters but really when I have seen Junior Brides they are the daughter of the bride or groom that they don't want to be a flower girl and want more directly incorporated into the ceremony. The parent and stepparent marry and then they have a little joining ceremony to unite the family with the Junior Bride--she gets her own little ring or necklace if they want to make sure she can keep it more than a few years. They are in mini wedding dresses and go from there. I have also seen Junior Bridesmaids be called Junior Brides but that wasn't very common."

You're welcome!

"Reaching" for what? An apple on a tree? A book on a high shelf? Oh I know! A higher education?!

Queen Davis you need to go back and read the posts. It was stated clearly that there was going to be a jr bride AND a junior bridesmaid.

    This is so creepy.

She stated TWICE that there would be a Jr. Bride along with Jr. Bridesmaids, that they were different, and that we needed to google it because she was sick of answering our questions.

    Also, Jr. Bride sounds creepy.

Just make them flower girls or jr bridesmaids.

Again I meant A Jr Bride , she is 13 and I made her a jr bride, my flower girls are 4 the age they should be.. .. If you Googled enough they even have jr.bride dresses at all bridal stores.. Her dress will not be like mines at and it's my wedding and none of y'all opinions paid for it ... It's not a made up title it's often done in African American weddings mostly ....

I've seen them done in Latino weddings not really in African American weddings but I've only been a bridesmaid like 9 times and they have never done it. The one I did see I didn't know she was a Jr. Bride until after she walked down with a miniature groom and she was like 5 or 6, 13 seems a bit old but my 14 year old daughter is taller than me and I'd be ready to knock out anyone who looked at her as a bride because she's too young, but she's a Jr. Bridesmaid because she's not old enough to be a actual BM.. She's tall enough but not old enough...lol

Um, no. There is only one bride, the adult woman getting married. A Jr. brideSMAID is a different thing completely.

Honey, those are Jr BRIDESMAID dresses. And the "puffy dresses" you are referencing are flower girl dresses. Trust me. I know our stock.
