A Aqua and Chocolate Brown Wedding

Future Mrs. St Hillaire, on March 8, 2011 at 6:22 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 30

I am planning on my colors to be Aqua and Chocolate brown with a little bit of silver. The first time I laid eyes on that color scheme I fell in love. What do you ladies think. If it was up to the FH the colors will be a bright yellow a bright green and red lol. I love him but no thanks. I think I have picked some cute colors. What is some of you ladies color schemes?

I LOVE aqua and brown, I think it's so pretty! I haven't decided on a color scheme, the wedding is at the end of october but I don't really care for "traditional" fall colors, you know? Hmmmm....

Very pretty... It gets hard to match the Aqua exactly... just to warn you.

I love your color scheme, Mrs. St. Hellaire! Deciding on colors was the hardest thing for me. We actually just went back to our venue and voila! There was the confirmation. We are using cranberry red, gold, ivory and black. It fits the reception site perfectly. The girls on here have given lots of good inspiration too!

Hayley speaks the truth! I'm actually doing pretty much the same- turquoise, chocolate, and ivory. If I could figure out how to save my Inspiration Board as a file, I would post it. But I can't figure it out lol. Either way, finding matching shades has been a headache!

My colors are blush/pinks and champagne. I originally was going to do Tiffany blue as well though but my wedding dress turned out to be a blush color and I didn't want it to look like a baby shower. I have to say though; I am partial to bright yellow and green being that I live in the land of the Oregon Ducks : D

It's gorgeous! I love this! I'm opting for aqua and red though, red is both FH & my fave color, and it really made FH happy Smiley smile

I love the aqua and chocolate color scheme! Actually my bedroom used to be those colors lol. I originally had thought to do blush, ivory and chocolate but finally decided on ivory, pink and green (but in pale, muted colors that are more vintage looking).

I'm doing something similar. Brown, Teal, a little bit of light green, and white finger starfish (it's a beach wedding). You're going to find a ton of stuff in those colors. And I agree with other posters, it will be hard to match the aqua exactly. But that's ok, no one will notice if a few things are a couple shades off.

    Good luck!

    Your colors are amazing!!

Mine are fuschia and royal purple. Since fuschia has been my fav color since I was a tiny tot and FI hates it, I decided to compromise and have the gals and men wear purple and accent with fuschia flowers!

Yeah the teal is a pain to match, but I am specifically doing just all shades of teal so nothing will match. The only things that will match is the pool bridesmaids dresses and the vests on the guys. Plus I'm wearing a pool sash on my gown. AND i'm planning to dye my crinoline teal but I doubt I'll be good enough to get it to match the David's bridal pool...

Those are kind of my colors too. I'm doing different shades of teals and blues with chocolate brown. Our guys are wearing chocolate tuxes from mens warehouse and the girls are wearing the blues. I love those colors together. Smiley smile

I love it! I started out with those colors in mind, and after i found the BM dresses I went to Peacock with various accent colors. 2 colors were just not enough. My colors are Choc Tuxs with Latte vests from Men's warehouse, my dress is Ivory, Latte bm dresses from David's bridal , Peacock blue shoes for me, and teal and chartruse accents through out.

Good luck with your Wedding I am sure it will be so beautiful.
