This week started off so strong.
Bridal shower planned. My flowers, M&Ms, and wedding shoes arrived. I finished addressing all my invitations. Mailed invites to bridesmaids. Finally had my first fitting. Worked on figuring out my veil conundrum. Bridesmaid's gifts designed. So many accomplishments...
Then yesterday and today happened. Suddenly my cousins child is having first communion the day after the wedding... so they won't be attending. And they're annoyed because several members of their family are attending the wedding instead of the baptism. But I set the wedding a year ago. I can't help it.Fiances family decided they only wanted to host a shower for their half of the family. Which is understandable, but I would have preferred to know before I declined an offer from my cousin. Luckily, my cousin and aunt are amazing and scrambled to put together a plan in under 10 minutes. I'm thankful, but a little upset because I would have loved to have 1 shower. But whatever. That just kinda put a huge damper on the week.Luckily, I've been waiting to mail invites... as my cousin messages me her new address. So I need to readdress her invitation. [If you're keeping track at home, this is the 20th address change on my guest list.] On the bright side, I still need empty wine bottles... and I'm about to empty my second one tonight since I got home.
