5 months from today! How about you?

Somehow, we're only 54 days away now!!! We have most things done but still have some small things to do. We sent out our wedding invitations last Monday so we're waiting on RSVPs to start coming in. I have my hair and makeup trial and final dress fitting coming up at the end of the month. We're going to start paying our final payments to our vendors this week so we can have everything paid off this month too.

Happy New year to you too. Since my wedding is going to be very small, I dont really have a lot to do. Booked a venue that takes care of everything. We are meeting with them wed to decide what we want and don't. I still need to decide on bouquets and i'm going back and forth wondering if its too early to make an appt for alterations. But i am 102 days out. I started at 483 days and now were close to double digits.

The last year of wedding planning has truly just flown by. This time last year we were still researching venues and discussing ideas. Now we are 172 days out and it seems unreal!! We are also doing invitations in the next couple of weeks as well as ordering suits for the guys, plus my girls have been ordering their dresses. Bachlorette party weekend (April) is booked and MOH is super excited for all the surprises they have lined up. We are going to look at wedding bands with our jeweler in February.

It will be fun to finalize plansI'm also hoping to plan my alterations at the correct time. I'm having my bridal portrait with my horse, so the timing will depend on the weather and how soon it warms up this year🤞I'm probably going to look for guidance from where I go for alterations, so that it's timed perfectly.Hope the venue meeting goes well

Congrats! Must be exciting to be finally 2020 for you! I still have 549 days left! But time to actually plan this wedding! We bought a house 2 weeks after our engagement so we put wedding planning for 2020 and to get married in 2021! Any helpful tips or advice being 17 months out?

After securing the venue, I actually got alot of the big things done quickly.
I felt so much better having them checked off of the list.
Congratulations on buying a house! That's awesome!
We were going to try to buy, move and plan the wedding all at once, but we quickly realized that the house and move will have to wait until after the wedding.
We are older and paying for everything ourselves. By booking early and making payments, it's been less stressful. We are also saving as we go, so that we can stay on budget.
I would say, have fun and enjoy the planning process. Don't put alot of pressure on yourself yet, you can pace yourself.
It's never too early to plan and dream of your wedding, in my opinion.

It's so exciting, isn't it? We started at 600+ days, and now we're at 143 days!!! OMG!

We also put planning on the back burner during the holidays, and I had an unexpected break when I had the flu and pneumonia for three weeks.

But I'm back at it, and more excited than ever!! Still some things to get done, but it all seems to be coming together now. I'm really trying to enjoy every second of the next 143 days! May 30, 2020!!

164! Venues, photographer, hair and makeup, officiant, dress/alterations, all booked! Invites are out, rsvps are coming in (yes its pretty early but A LOT of people are traveling here so we gave them ample time to book travels) and my blood pressure has never been higher but music, rings and planning your wedding vision sound like so much fun!! Congrats!!

I live in a tiny mountain town in Colorado so between the lack of shops here in town and how dangerous travel is over mountain passes...my options are limited! Sometimes I can't get out of town because of snow!! So I have to book everything around my trips to Denver =( so unfortunately I'm having my dress altered in two weeks from now and I have to just hope that I stay the same size until my next fitting in June! If i wasn't so land locked I'd totally be doing it in early spring too, maybe in early April and then again three weeks before the big day!
