48 days to go.. we purchased my wedding band today, now it’s really starting to sink in!!!

I'm getting married that day too, and I still have a lot to do. I was derailed by my FH's two recent hospital stays and my brother's stroke. I still have to:

1. get his band

2. order the food

3. get the drinks

4. assemble the centerpieces

5. send the invites (had planned last month, but the whole hospital stuff stopped me)

6. get my dress fitting out of the way

7. figure out my something borrowed

But I agree there is so much still to do and I feel like every time I blink I have 5 days less! Don’t even panic about the invites, if you did save the dates people know they are coming and you will be totally okay! The food was my favorite thing to order so I wish you soo much fun with that, it really is cool to pick exactly what you and your fiancé want for your special day!! My something borrowed was going to be a piece of my late grandmothers jewelry but my uncle currently has all of it and I’m too scared to ask for the ring because I believe he has probably already sold it all... so something borrowed I will probably not have, because it should have been something I could have honored one of the most important people in my life with. I hope your wedding is absolutely perfect and I wish you the best of luck as we near closer to our day!!

Thank you. He's doing better. He and my fiancee are both out of the hospital finally so things are quieting down in that area anyway. We are doing Chicken shack for our food, so we're waiting on the final count before we order. I will be getting the stamps I need tomorrow for the invites, and i'm addressing them today to save me time tomorrow. I'm just glad we're only inviting about 75 people, and some of them said that the Facebook event page is fine and they don't need a paper invite.
