Oh, wow, did today go all over the place!
Woke up to an email from the venue asking if we still wanted to do a ceremony rehearsal. And giving times.
Problem? WE SCHEDULED THAT 2 WEEKS AGO!
Wrote a calm email explaining that.
Venue replied with, essentially, an oops.
Phew.
Then, opened up a package. A friend of mine who is getting married next month, took the time to paint us a welcome sign. ...I nearly cried.
Also, FH has 'regulars' at his job - one sent him home with a cake and one sent him home with a $50 bb&b card.
Then, while I go to work, FH goes to pick up his suit. Men's Wearhouse first tries to give him his sister's suit (she's a groomswoman). Then talks about how he chose the $400 option, instead of the free because we've got so many in our group option that he signed up for!!
Thankfully, they fixed it, but OOOPH.
THEN, when I get to work... my coworkers got me a cake, as well!! (We have so much cake, now.)
I felt so loved!
There were other minor fires: trying to work out a timeline, and the venue forgot we weren't doing a first look, wanted to put the ceremony at 530, instead of closer to 5, as it says on the invitations... trying to get my father and FH to stop digressing into baseball history talk and just help pick names for our tables...
So much to do, so little time!!
