21 days! Freaking out! What do you do to calm the anxiety?

Exactly 3 weeks until the big day!!


Wrapping up the DIY stuff this weekend. Appointment for the marriage license has been made for Wednesday. Filling out info sheet for month of coordinator today. All that's really left after today is to write our vows and letters for the love letter box.

My anxiety is through the roof. I'm stress eating and having trouble sleeping. I bought myself an "anti-stress" facemask to use tonight. I have a hair appointment next weekend. And I'm getting a mani/pedi at some point this week. I also have my essential oil defuser going (not really my thing, but my sister insists it will help. 🤷‍♀️ At least it smells pretty)
Do you have any other destressing routines or suggestions to share?

    I wouldn’t use anything new on your face !!! If you haven’t used the product before I would risk it causing a breakout— sorry I don’t mean to add to
    Your anxiety!!!!

    But try keeping calming music on low in the house like background music — yoga (doesn’t work for me but my bestfriend swears it helps her)

    Thanks for the concern. I've used this mask off and on for years. I've never had any issues with it, so I think I'll be fine. I've been wanting to try yoga for a while. I'll see if my gym had a class I can make it to.

    Do you drink?
    Kidding but not really.

    I've been having to take colder showers to keep myself from having panic attacks. Tried a lot of controlled breathing.

    I could go for a glass of wine, but then I'd have to drink the whole bottle before it went bad. Lol My fiance and I drink different kinds and my ladies are all too far for a visit. I use to do controlled breathing, but I haven't in a while. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

    Lots of deep breathing and listening to calming music. Taking a long walk always helped me too

    I love to go running when I am stressed or get active in any way, it gets to me focus more on what I’m actually doing and forget my problems!

    Have a glass of wine and relax. Ensure you have your list of final tasks to do, that'll definitely keep you sane. Recruit help from trusted loved ones if you feel overwhelmed. Don't stress too much. You're almost there!Smiley heart
