2021 Destination weddings

If its destination as in out of the country I think I would be worried about it. In the states maybe not as much, but definitely international/.

I would wait because anything can happen. Did your resort give you a deadline on when to make a decision?

We are doing a destination wedding in Puerto Rico... Since we have family there we are pretty much doing everything ourselves... To do the ceremony at the beach we are going ourselves to their city hall to request all permits... There are homes (Large Homes) near or on the beach that you can rent out and use the yard for the wedding reception as well as the ceremony... rent some tarps tables and chairs etc.

We are getting married 12/2/2021 in Puerto Rico. What country are you getting married in? Some have stricter travel restrictions than others.

We are wanting to get married in Hawaii August 2021. I'm not as nervous right now about the travel, I do hope that things calm down and restrictions are not as bad. However, anything can happen. We will definitely have a plan B if we need to. Since I'm new to this entire planning, I'm wondering if I can still have a destination wedding and do engagement party, etc?! We know that with the destination there will likely only be about 5 additional people with us, and we really like having fewer people. But hoping we can still do engagement party locally to at least enjoy a small celebration with people close to us.
