Today I tried on dresses for the first time and feel like I’m on the right track with these two but feel like there’s something missing! Can’t put my finger on it though! What do you think?? 1St time dress shopping! What do you think?? 1

Try on some more if you are not sure because you do not want dress regret. It looks more bridal with a veil for sure. Maybe a belt?

Have you tried with a belt or a necklace?

I agree i think if you add a belt it will be the missing link. Just as PP said try on a variety of dresses so you dont have buyers regret. I need to lose a few pounds and i will do it. I went into it open minded but was surprised how what i thought would look bad looked awesome. So take your time on some level and just think about what you love and hate as you try on it will make finding what you want easier .good luck

The first one especially would look great with a belt - and I’m not even a belt fan, but I think that could be what’s missing!

    That’s what I was thinking.

But I’d try on more if you feel you’re on the right track. You’ll definitely know.

I love the train on that second one and I agree with PPs that the first one would look great with a belt. If you’re not sure, definitely try on some more, and all the consultant for help accessorizing so you can get a better idea if you need to.
I didn’t have an emotional reaction, but before I walked out to show everyone I told the consultant I could see myself walking down the aisle in that dress. It wasn’t even my family’s favorite of the day, but 🤷‍♀️.
Good luck! I miss dress shopping, it was fun!

Wow those are so beautiful and especially on you. If you're not sure, of course it's better to keep looking. Many dresses are gorgeous in my opinion, but I didn't settle on something I just liked, I tried to find the one that I loved. If you feel like the dresses are just missing something in general, maybe with that neckline you'd like a necklace to bring it together.

I like the first one more but you look great on both. I wouldn't rush into it, they often have a clause in the contact that you can't change your mind

Maybe try one with some crystals and beading. That was the elements missing for mine!

Ooooh love the first one. Try a belt. But don’t buy from the store they’re so expensive there. You can try some there for inspiration

I love the train on the second dress!! Gorgeous! I did not have a huge emotional response either, unless you count relief (as in thank god I found my dress!). But if you’re feeling doubtful keep looking.

I love that first dress and I don't think it needs anything! The top of it is really flattering and just stunning on you. However, you if didn't get that "this is it" feeling, I would keep shopping!

The best advice I was given was you know it’s the one when there’s nothing about the dress you want to change. It helped me when deciding between my top two. Adding a belt may do the trick, but if you really feel like something is missing I think it’s important to try on more.

Those are both beautiful dresses! I especially love the 1st one! 😍

I'd keep trying on dresses so you can narrow your focus and figure out how you feel!

I love that first one. These dresses are gorgeous!

Definitely shop around and don't worry about finding a dress you absolutely love right away. Give yourself time to decide. Not everyone has a crying "yes to the dress" moment! If you feel really on the fence, don't settle right away. Shop around, and when you find a dress that you keep thinking of and feels right, go for it!

Keep trying on dresses! All shapes, all fabrics, with and without accessories. You may not get an emotional response (SYTTD really over sells that phenomenon) but you shouldn't feel like it's "missing" something.
