10am ceremony...itinerary?

Ugh! So our wedding starts at 10 am in our local church. Our reception is a half an hour away and starts at 11:30am and ends at 4:30pm. I've been searching for itineraries online and can't find anything! I'm not having the bridemaids have their hair or make up done, they want to do it themselves. So it's just me. I'll probably have the hairdresser come to my house, and have the girls meet me at 7:30 am- 8am? Seems like such a time crunch...any advice on an itinerary?

    When will you decorate the reception space? Can you access it the night before to do teh personalized stuff (guest book table, pictures, etc)? Who will be letting vendors in to do day of set-up, like caterer, cake and flowers?

    It took a good hour to get my hair done. My makeup was about 45 minutes. Then, I had last minute details of the day to deal with- instructing the caterer where to set up, making sure all the vendors arrived, etc. It was pretty chaotic. Our ceremony started at 1pm, and I started getting ready at 9am- and felt rushed.

    We can go to the reception the night before and drop everything off. The planner will set up for us. The centerpieces are included since it's at a restaurant. And they will be there to let in the vendors, they open at 9am so it should be fine.

    My mom also had a 10am wedding and it wasn't too crazy, I was just looking for a set plan. I will probably be up at 5am but that's fine since I'm up that early for work anyway. Not to mention I probably won't sleep! haha

    Ha! That's exactly my timeline! My day's timeline is THREE PAGES LONG - too long to paste here!

    You're an hour before me. I would have your girls be where you need to be by 6:30-7:00 am - the earlier the better!!

    Me & my girls, my Hair/MUA are arriving at my venue (along with my photographer - so he can do what he needs to do) by 7:00 AM

    Just my twin daughters and I are having hair/make up done - we should be done by 10:00. ALLOW THIS MUCH TIME - I KNOW ppl will be badgering me with questions in between.

    Pics w/girls until 10:20am. First look photos: 10:30. Ceremony music: 10:45am. Ceremony 11:05 - 11:30am. Mimosa hour between 11:30 and 12:30.

    Reception begins at 12:30. Announcement of BP, First Dances, Bride/Dad; Groom Mom Dance. Blessing & Groom toast at 12:55 pm. Buffet/Stations opens at 1:00 pm. Stations close at 2:00 pm FUN DANCING starts at 2:00 pm until cake is cut at 4:00 pm. Bar closed/last dances. 4:30 - END!

    Great ideas! I Have developed a pretty long timeline too! lol Yeah I'll have the girl come earlier just to have them around. It's going to be an early morning! But I'll be glad to leave at 4:30 and still have time with my husband instead of just going to bed! Smiley smile
