I live in the DC metropolitan area. I was raised here and was born in North Carolina. I am sort of a city country girl. My wedding is being held in Las Vegas on October 13, 2022. I understand that October is a very busy month for weddings. It used to be June. My color scheme is pink, gold and silver. My matron of honor (2) are both wearing mermaid style light pink dresses, whereas my bridesmaids (4) are wearing a different style mermaid dress in light pink as well. My niece, the flower girl is also wearing pnk with a silver trim dress. The groomsmen are wearing light gray suits with a pink bowtie, possibly pink chucks, IF we can find them and a pink corsage. My dress is very dramatic. Each time I show somebody, they go "Wow". It is gold with swarovski crystals on the boob area and has a long lame gold train. My wedding is being held at an outside garden area of a banquet hall that has natural trees, waterfalls and color lighting. It's very dramatic. The reception area is at the same location and comes decorated with gold chairs, pink dramatic light, table decorations, dj, buffet, photographer and an open bar. I planned my entire wedding with no help. Picked out everybody's outfit, except the groom. Just waiting on 44 more days to happen. Good Luck to all the couples. Planning a wedding is frustrating. A lot of unorganized and last minute Charley people. Like I had to give the hotel information, like 3 times to at least 10 people. Mind you, I sent an email, then followed up with a Save the Date and people still asked hey what's the hotel information. God bless each of you. Peace & Love Portia
