I'm planning to do something similar to this, removing the ribbon in the middle to create a more fluid line/movement. Maybe just adding steel grass and have it swirling inside the vase?

So after thinking about it I don't see the point in buying a veil just for the ceremony so I was thinking about doing a hair comb instead but I am not sure so lets hear is ladies what do you think...
