My dad passed away two weeks ago. And I had to postpone my wedding to January 23 from December 5. Our wish is to go to either Puerto Rico, Hawaii, or the United States Virgin Islands

Hi, the first decision I made was my wedding date. I should have picked both at the same time because when I went to pick my venue, most of them were booked up on my date, so I had to change from 6/20 to 6/27! :( However, when I realized that my parents had their anniversary date on 6/27....it made everything good, as they were married for 43 years. I absolutely picked my bridesmaid before doing my budget! I procrastinated as much as I could before doing my budget. :)

I have not gone over budget yet. But, I am just getting started! I will be getting my dress at the end of October, my engagement photos in 2 weeks, and just reserved my venue this week. My wedding will be in Summer 2020.

We always kiss hello and goodbye; we usually talk to future in-laws together on the same phone.
