Now as I am two days away from my original wedding date, I wish it was still our day. But we are 56 days away from new date! I plan to tell my family this weekend then send out e-vites on Monday.

Hi Annely! I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt, but it sounds like you have been a wonderful support system for her! I think sending out an e-vite with the new date and RSVP information would be perfect. Do you have any close friends or family who could help you spread the word about your new date to your guests?

Hello! I unfortunately had to post pone my wedding due to my aunt becoming gravely ill.She was diagnosed with brain cancer last November and was expected to start showing improvements mentally a week or two ago. Instead, the treatments took negative effect and Doctors have said it is now a matter of days. I went to see her in the hospital about two weeks ago, as she laid asleep in her bed. I thought to myself “how could we have a party right now?” It just didn’t seems right. I made the decision to post pone my wedding and luckily all vendors understood. Now a week or so have passed and I am days before the originally date & I can’t help but feel guilty, upset, confused...not knowing if this was the tight decision. My aunt is now at hospice and we don’t get married this Saturday. Our new day is in November. Now, I’m not sure what to do as far as announcing the new date. I’m running out of time to have invitations reprinted and sent out. I’m thinking digital invitations with new day? The rest of the info is the same. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
