Not at all. I picked the date that would best accommodate for friends, family and travel. Every step of the relationship is important. Being engaged is just as important as starting out and eventually marriage. Enjoying each part and learning your s.o. even more before the knot is tied is essential to a healthy marriage.

I picked the date based on weather conditions, time of year that my family would enjoy most. For me it's not just about Nikko and I; but also about our loved ones. I have the date and I'm going to find a venue based on that date (also Sunday's are cheaper by a grand)
