I am an active duty Soldier, I have not been home for Christmas in 3 years. Our wedding is on December 23rd but the theme is Southern Rustic and colors are dusty blue, pink, maroon and navy blue. We will have a decorated Christmas tree in 1 room of the venue but that is all. The coal and iron building was built in 1889 in what was known as Wills town, Alabama later renamed as Fort Payne, Alabama. Yes home of the Alabama band. With my mom going all out for Christmas as is our family tradition I didn’t want her to have to divide what she does at home with this. I want both to be special in their own way and not take anything away from either.
