We are having an outdoor wedding and our reception is under a tent. The caterer that we hired (for dinner) is not providing plates, silverware, cups or napkins. We are having a destination wedding and have to bring it all. Is that normal for caterers...

Where are my date twins? How are you feeling? Holy Cow! Only 9 more days... I can’t believe it is sooo close! I am feeling excited and a little nervous.

Hi :-) When are (did) you making your final payment to your caterer? We were expecting to make our final payment at the time of our reception but our caterer is expecting full payment upfront... is that normal? Did any of you pay regular (full) price...

Who do we include in our plate count... Officiant, Photographer, DJ, Bartender, Caterers, Servers? How much are you playing per plate? We are paying $56 per plate and it seems really high.

We are not planning on having ushers... So do our parents just seat themselves? Do we need to mark the 1st row as reserved and let them know that’s where they should sit?

Are you providing alcohol? How much are you providing? We want to provide some alcohol but we are not sure we want to provide it for the entire reception. When and how could we have a cutoff time?
