Silvi and her team are amazing! They are so nice and funny! I kept forgetting they were our photographers, they bended in so well with our family and friends and they were so amazing all of my guests loved them! On top of them being just amazing human my pictures and videos are TO DIE FOR!!!

Unforgettable Experience
100% exceeded our expectations. I found her through someone who recommended her on Facebook. I took a chance with never meeting them in person (however via zoom) and taking a look at her online work! I LOVED that Silvi and her team worked with LGBTQ+ couples. It made this experience more comfortable and unforgettable. Not only were they so sweet to us on our wedding day, they made us all feel like a family. My friends and family were so impressed with how involved Silvi and her team were with everyone. From the moment we booked with Silvy, she was professional, responsive, and truly passionate about capturing our special day. The Sweetfire team made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and their attention to detail was incredible. Every moment—from the big, emotional highlights to the small, candid in-between shots—was beautifully captured. The final photos and videos arrived on time and exceeded our expectations, and we will cherish them forever. Amazing experience
This experience was great. Silvi and her team instantly made me feel comfortable. I really wasn’t nervous until the morning of and the second she came into my room to start the getting ready photos, all the nerves washed away. They were not only very professional, but very relatable. My husband and I really liked spending time with them and are so grateful we selected Sweet Fire Photography. I would choose them any day and have my friends as well. The photos were beautiful. We had a large group of 70 and they captured everyone beautifully. The planning process was easy. On the day of, Silvi knew they lay of the land at the resort, it was awesome. We didn’t really know what to expect. She is so knowledgeable, we were so happy.

Perfect day with Sweet Fire
This review is long overdue. I’m coming up on my one year anniversary in a few days and knew I had to make sure I finally got it done. Working with Sweet Fire was such a wonderful experience. I was so stressed out, planning a destination wedding and didn’t really know where to start. Silvi was super responsive and answered all of my questions. One of my big concerns was lighting. I am a black woman with family of ranging skin tones and really wanted to make sure my family and friends were captured in the proper lighting. When asked, she reassured me by showing me examples of their work from their diverse clientele and reassured me that everyone would look their best. Which they absolutely did. What cemented me choosing Sweet Fire was the first consultation. Not only was Silvi kind, but she was one of the first and only people to slow down and ask me about my love story and how my fiancé and I fell in love. It was such a sweet and special moment that took me by surprise. In all my decision making for my nuptials that question didn’t really come up too often. I appreciated that she wanted to know more about my fiancé and I in order to capture our day properly. I already knew I made the right decision hiring Sweet Fire but the wedding day really made it clear. The Sweet fire team was amazing. Once they arrived it was go time. They captured so many amazing moments and gave us great direction. We were working against the sunset and they captured the most beautiful images. I even had guest commenting. “Whoa that photographer is on top of it.”They were seamless in their execution and you could see their experience and love of working together. It was a very smooth stress free process. If I had to list one thing I would have done differently would have been to fill out the pdf they sent listing out the family members, wedding party, and any additional shots that I may have wanted.I was given plenty of opportunity to let them know but I was so stressed out with decision fatigue that It was just one more thing I couldn’t think about. Definitely set aside time to get that done. Even with me not taking care of that they wrangled my wedding party and family members quickly to get the best photos possible. I remember saying I wanted my wedding to be relaxed yet fun. Sweet-fire definitely was able to capture that and I could not be more grateful.

Best Ever Family Photo Shoot
Our family photo shoot with Sweet Fire Photography resulted in wonderful pictures. Silvi put everyone in our multigenerational group at ease right away. She had everyone laughing, smiling and relaxed throughout the experience. We got the best pictures we have ever had both as a large family group of 17 people and as smaller individual family groupings. Her eye for details, like shirt collars etc. and her superb sense of artistic balance are evident in the photos.

Stunning pictures, fantastic people!
From the moment we met Silvi and her husband Lincoln, we were certain they would be our wedding photographers. We received a recommendation from our wedding planner suggesting they were truly some of the best photographers in Riviera Maya, and he was right! Lovely people, and with exceptional talent.
We booked their 8-hour photo and video package and have been thrilled with the result. Their team really flawlessly captured the entire wedding day (from family portraits, to our dog running down the aisle as ring-bearer, to dancing and fireworks) while always seemingly blending into the background. The drone and video footage also exceeded our expectations!
The wedding day flies by for the wedding couple... we couldn't be happier to have everything Silvi put together to remember the best of times on our wedding day!

Just book them!
From beginning to end working with Sweet Fire Photography was a great experience. I started working with Silvi long before being able to start actual planning for my destination wedding and she was so helpful for getting me prepared for my initial meetings with the staff at the resort. She was sure to check in periodically up until it was time for more serious planning and was always so energetic and reassuring, which is a relief with all the other wedding stressors. I lucked up and had her husband as my lead photographer and he did not disappoint. He kept us all on track and captured my husband and I in our true essence which I loved. The best part is it didn't take them long to return our pictures which is what most brides I hear complain about. We had sneak peaks less than a week after and final photos and videos within 2 months. Don't hesitate to book with them. You will be in good hands!

I CANNOT recommend Silvi and Lincon (Silvi’s Husband) & their team more.
I contacted SweetFire Photography prior to booking and we set up a Zoom meeting with Silvi. We knew immediately after we had to book her and her team. She has such a fun personality, and we knew she would do a wonderful job. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless and easy. Her communication was fantastic prior to the wedding through getting our photos and videos back.
On the day of the wedding, everyone showed up on time and ready to get to capture our day. They were so much fun to work with. Silva specifically helped keep everyone on track and made sure we got the photos we wanted. The team did an excellent job making all of us feel comfortable.
Our photos and video turned out AMAZING. Not only did they capture us, our families, but they managed to capture so many of our guests having a great time. I am so thankful for the memories they were able to capture that we will have forever.

Sweetfire photography and videography was PHENOMENAL! We hired them for our destination wedding in Cancun and they went above and beyond. They were so patient and put so much love and thought into their work. It is not just a job for sweetfire, it is their passion and that truly shows. I had found Sweet Fire photography on Instagram and just fell in love with their photos and style. I first met with Silvi for a consult and right away I loved her energy. She’s fun and vibrant and took the time to ask me questions about me, my husband and our story. I really appreciated her taking the time to understand who we are to give us the best experience. I met with her a couple of times before the wedding, which I appreciated as I was planning a destination wedding from our home in the US. The day of, her and her husband came and took our pictures. They were such a fun duo and were very patient with us, we’re sort of an awkward bunch who aren’t used to getting our pictures taken. We got so many compliments from our wedding party and guests about how great they were. My husband hates getting his picture taken and both Silvi and her husband worked really well with him and we were able to capture some beautiful moments. The most surprising part was how quickly we got the previews back! We had pictures to look at before we even got home from our trip! I continue to recommend this team to the bride pages I’m a part of, I could not have been happier with their personalities, the way the pictures turned out and how quickly we got the previews back. We SO loved working with Silvi and her team for our wedding in Play Del Carmen. The first call that I had with her, I knew she would be a great fit for our wedding. Love this duo, I picked this company because I liked their portfolio. It didn't matter if it was a big or small wedding they smashed it. Now I have had my pictures and video it really shows their ability to really know what is important for that couple. I am very critical of pictures of myself and I hate having my picture taken, however my pictures are beautiful.
My video which included the drone has blown me away, how does a film of less than 4 mins capture everything we felt on our wedding day! Well it did and I cry every time I see it, I didn't pick the song on the video they did (never heard of it until now) it was like the song was written for us.
We had hiccups with the wedding due to the weather (very windy) so everything was changed last min, it was a little rushed but that was because my wedding wasn't on time and pushed back, however they captured amazing pictures with the little light they had left to work with.
I love their enthusiasm and how they knew each other so well, they worked well together and there was absolutely no judgement from them.
My wedding was very small and intimate and this wasn't an issue either.
My only regret is that I didn't book trash the dress, I booked sweetfire because Silvi was very attentive from start to finish, her packages were affordable and you could suit them to your needs! So have no doubt you are in safe hands and do trash the dress!

Hire Sweetfire!
We hired Silvi and Sweet Fire Photography for our wedding in December 2022 at Excellence Playa Mujeres resort. I had found Sweet Fire through Instagram, liked the way the photos looked, and enjoyed the "How to Plan a Destination Wedding" e-guide. I was a little nervous to choose a photographer for our destination wedding without meeting in person, but I was able to schedule a Zoom meet and greet with Silvi and from our conversation I knew I wanted her as our photographer. She is kind, funny, effervescent, relaxed, and a good human being. When planning our wedding, amazing photos were one of my top 3 non-negotiables. And Silvi delivered above my expectations! She has such an artistic eye and knows how to give subtle directions that make you feel silly in the moment but create beautiful photos. I am so glad we did a first look so that I could be relaxed walking down the aisle and during the ceremony. I treasure that we have photos of myself and my husband with each of our couples (we had 24 guests), right after the ceremony. I also like that we have a very good balance of serious and fun photos, as well as some editorial/sexy photos too. Silvi and her team perfectly captured our event with a photo-journalism style, and I'm so pleased. One other thing I appreciated is that she sent us a "sneak peak" of some photos within 2-3 weeks of the wedding happening, and we got all our photos within 2 months - which is a wonderful turnaround on wedding photos! I would definitely use her again if we came to Cancun/Riviera Maya and had a need for photos and I recommend her 10/10.

So happy to have found Sweet Fire Photography!
My husband and I from Canada had no idea where to start with hiring a photographer for our wedding in Riviera Cancun. After some failed attempts and poor communication with a few others, I found Silvi and Sweet Fire Photography through Facebook recommendations, and I instantly fell in love with her style.
Communication was fast and professional, and we were given all of the information we would need up front. We set up a Zoom call with Silvi, and we knew right away that it was the right fit for us. We opted to have her husband Lincoln as the second shooter, and what a great decision that was! Their working style together was exactly what we wanted, they are truly a Dream Team.
Everything about the process was easy, communication was clear, and Silvi checked in several times leading up to our arrival in Mexico. From the minute they arrived at the resort, we were having fun. The boys were laughing and the girls were feeling at ease. Silvi has a calming presence and I didn't feel at all nervous, she led us through all of our getting ready photos with a great energy.
Silvi and Lincoln were both so easy to talk to and gave excellent direction, we never felt uncomfortable or unsure during our newly wed photos after the ceremony. They were fun and friendly, and were always there to capture the best moments during our ceremony and reception.
Our photo gallery and slideshow arrived right on schedule, and my husband and I watched the slideshow together on Christmas Day, the best Christmas gift ever! We watched it twice in a row because it was so beautiful and fun. We both had big smiles and a few tears.
Sweet Fire Photography captured our wedding exactly as we had wanted and we couldn't be happier with the results. We hope to have an opportunity to work with them again in the future. Thank you!

Silvi & Team are the BEST!!!
We hired Silvi and her team for our wedding this October and it was the best decision we could have made! The photos were absolutely beautiful and the video is a great way to remember the day. Planning a destination was no easy task for a type A person, but Silvi and her team made the process so much easier and took some of the stress off my plate. Her team was also top notch. Wendy made sure all the small details were in place and had a calming aura that put me at ease when I was having day-of jitters. Lincoln matched and carried the high energy of our wedding. It was the best day ever and we are so grateful for their contribution to it.

Took a Chance and absolutely did not disappoint
I reached out to Sweet Fire Photography about 3 months before our wedding, thank goodness they had availability and even Miss Silvina was able to be part of the team. Communication was good and even handled parts of my lack of communication well too. Her 2nd photographer Wendy and videographer Ivan, we’re also absolutely amazing. Just got our photos/videos back in a timely manner and we’re extremely happy with the outcome. So glad it was Sweet Fire that we chose, and now recommend others to do the same if you’re not sure who to go with out of all the wedding photographers in the area.

Absolutely amazing
Amazing!! We hired them for our destination wedding in tulum, and they were 10000% worth every penny! I am absolutely in LOVE with my wedding photos, and it brings me to tears each time I look at them. They were such a kind, funny, directing, and even calming group of people. They could tell when I was a little overwhelmed and helped me to take a deep breath which resulted in some amazing photographs that I can’t wait to have printed. When having my photo taken, I need direction and they were able to do that for me without making me feel unnatural. I am so thankful I hired them for my wedding!

OMG Silvi is incredible. We are so in love with our photos from the engagement shoot. She took her time and took some of the most spectacular photos of us. The lighting the atmosphere everything was incredible and the best part is we had a blast doing the actual shoot with her and her husband. I don't know where to begin! We had an amazing experience working with Silvi and her team! We first met at our engagement session and right away her personality shined and made you feel so comfortable! She is great on guiding you how to pose but overall make you feel confident when she is taking the pictures! On our wedding day she came in with her team with a positive energy ready to capture memories that will last forever! Her husband was the videographer and I love the bond they have with each other. They both have great ideas when it comes capturing memorable moments and work so well together.
My bridal party and guest love how cool and down to earth were and captured so many great pictures! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SWEET FIRE PHOTOGRAPHY! Trust me you will not regret it! If you want someone that loves what they do and does an amazing job of capturing amazing pictures get them for your wedding!

Great experience
Silvi and her crew were an absolute dream to have with me on my wedding day. I live in North Carolina and planning a destination wedding in Mexico is no easy task. I found Sweet Fire Photography from an online search. I reached out and Silvi was very quick to respond. We were able to set up an online meeting for us to get to know each other and talk about wedding things. She sent over other weddings she had photographed so I could see more of her work. Amazing wedding videography!

My wife Sharon and I were renewing our wedding vows in Mexico on our 30th wedding anniversary. We wanted to ensure we had enduring memories of the day, so researched who we felt would do a fantastic job of photo's and video. From the initial contact with Silvi, we felt very confident in our choice. Silvi and Lincoln turned up on time on the day, and led the way from there!
Their naturally relaxing, fun personalities made a big difference, as did their amazing professional skills. Part way through, the weather turned bad, with wind and rain gate crashing the ceremony! This is were true talent comes to the rescue, as Silvi and Lincoln adapted the photo shoots with incredible ease! They turned what most photographers would concede as a unrecoverable negative situation, into a positive opportunity! It doesn't matter how good you are with a camera, if you are unable to think outside the box, and adapt creatively to the situation, you may as well sell the camera and try a different career!
In a nutshell we highly recommend hiring Sweet Fire for your special day!

Silvi and her husband were absolutely wonderful to work with. I all ready had a photographer so I only used there videography services. Silvi was such a great with helping me figure out the time line and order in which we should do our photos around the resort. That was a huge stress reliever for me. Sweet Fire Photography went so far above and beyond for our family! We could not be more appreciative of the high quality family photos we received. I contacted Silvi while we were vacationing in the area and scheduled for the next day. Unfortunately, it rained our session out, but Silvi was extremely accommodating and met us at 6:30 am to make the photos happen and still ensure we didn't miss our flight back home. We received an extensive gallery of photos within days of the shoot, as promised. Silvi delivered on everything as promised, and she worked so well with both of our children. The absolute most incredible photography and videography team
The absolute best photography and videography we could have ever dreamed of ESPECIALLIY doing a destination wedding. Anything destination, is so hesitant when you are planning a wedding because you are doing all communication via email and phone calls. Silvi is an absolute sweetheart. She is so loving and welcoming and makes you and your spouse feel like you have already established a relationship with her from day 1. Prior to the wedding, she sent emails just saying she was walking the beach and was thinking about our wedding and photo ideas for our wedding. WHO DOES THAT? ONLY THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER! And months in advance AND had never even met. She just made us feel so certain that we made the right choice AND WE DID. She video chatted with us prior to our arrival to get to know us and talk about our big day. On the day of our wedding, Silvi, her husband and their other photographer walked in with open arms ready to tackle our big day. They were so fun and comfortable to work with. We would recommend Sweet Fire and Silvi over and over and over again. If you're unsure about who to book your photography and/or videography through, look no further. You have found the best! WORDS CAN'T EXPLAIN! There was one thing that was really important to me and my wedding and that was the photos. I am a person who loves looking back on pictures, watching videos and what not. When it came to splurging for our special day, I knew it would be in photography. My
Best friend/maid of honor did a search and found Sweet Fire Photography. I emailed them immediately because I loved their portfolio. I had the most efficient response with all of their pricing and different packages of what they offered. Honestly I knew they were amazing the first email I got back from them. Silvi and her crew were amazing and easy to contact during our whole planning period. Oh I failed to mention, we were getting married at Sandos PlayaCar coming from Chicago, Illinois. We met in person before the actual wedding, and I knew we had the perfect fit. Silvi was so welcoming, and sweet. It felt like we knew each other forever! Come day of our wedding, we felt nothing but relaxed and comfortable. Silvi and her crew made us feel as if we were so natural and in our own comfort zone. Not to mention they didn't have us doing anything cheesy! Our whole wedding party and family had nothing but compliments for them. They left our wedding, and we wanted them to stay and party with us. Silvi was the absolute BEST! She shot our wedding in Tulum at Zorba Beach Homes and besides being the sweetest human ever, Silvi made my husband and I feel so comfortable while she guided us through different poses, and the end results were gorgeous! The Best Photographers in Mexico!
Silvi and her team were a DREAM to work with!! My wedding package at the resort came with a photography package, but we decided to hire Silvi instead and we are SO happy we did! The resort photographers work for the resort, so they just dont care as much as an outside photographer does (I read LOTS of reviews to confirm this). One thing I knew when planning my wedding was the importance of a good photographer. You cant re-do a wedding, so I wanted to ensure I got every moment captured. Thats exactly what Silvi did, and then some!! Before I met Silvi in person, we did a face time to get to know one another and she asked me what I expected from her and my vision for my photo's and video. That really broke the ice and when I did finally meet her face to face, I felt as though I already knew her. She was so good at communicating with me leading up to the wedding and after. Not to mention, she is the sweetest person EVER!! She made us feel so comfortable and she's funny and witty which makes it easy to photograph. No awkward staged posing. It was all very natural feeling which reflected in our photos. We booked a catamaran the day before the wedding and she came with us on the boat to take pictures of that amazing day as well. The day of the wedding she showed up in my getting ready suit and captured all the moments of us getting ready and 2 members of her team captured the boys getting ready as well. We decided to do a first look, which was a great decision! It gave my hubby and I a moment to see each other before the ceremony and it was so personal and special to us. Of course, they captured it beautifully! It also gave us time to do photo's before the ceremony with our bridal party (which was 20 people!). This allowed us to make it to our cocktail hour as well, which was a blast! Silvi and her team took so many unique shots of my hubby and I, all my guests were commenting on how amazing they were and watching as we posed. We felt like rock stars! Silivi got our photo's and video to us on time and was really quick to give us our sneak peak photos! She had them ready just a few days after the wedding! Our wedding video was AMAZING! It is so special to us and we plan on watching it every year on our anniversary. It's truly awesome how they were able to capture our whole day and combine it into a video that we will cherish forever. I posted the shorter (5 min) video on my facebook and people were raving over it! So many people commented that it was the best wedding video they had ever seen and it brought tears to their eyes. I absolutely 100% recommend Silvi and her team at Sweetfire Photography. Don't look elsewhere, you will not be dissapointed. Thank you Silvi and everyone at Sweetfire Photography! You are amazing and we are forever grateful to you all for capturing the most important day of our lives!!

Hire them if you want the best photos!
I HIGHLY recommend using Sweet Fire Photography. I used them for my destination wedding in playa del Carmen, we are from the states. I was able to book them 6 months prior to my wedding which was such a blessing! Our wedding package came with a resort photographer for an additional cost but I was not comfortable using them. I felt more comfortable hiring sweet fire photography after looking at their website, social media and having a meeting with them. I’m so glad I went with my instinct because our wedding photos are so dang beautiful and something we will have for our entire life! So many people regret not hiring a great photographer or videographer and I didn’t want to be one of them and you shouldn’t either. Book them!

Phenomenal Experience
Silvi and her team were awesome! We had to postpone our wedding for 3 times due to COVID, they were very spontaneous and gave us great suggestions based on our constant changing scenarios! They made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process, and they were fun to work with, we all really enjoyed the moment. Incredible photographer!
She helped my partner set up a surprise engagement on the beach that was absolutely gorgeous! She captured the moment and had the most beautiful backdrop and ideas for our engagement photos. We just got our photos back and I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW GORGEOUS THEY ARE! They're simply breathtaking. She was so great with us and let us be ourselves, while adding fun ideas for poses in the mix. She truly captured our happiness and I could not be more grateful! We love you Silvi!!

Silvi and her assistant with SweetFire Photography made our honeymoon couple's session so much fun! She was willing to take pictures at sunrise for us! Great experience!
Our photographer was Silvi and she did and amazing job. We booked and hour long couple photo session in Tulum. Silvi was very prompt with her responses and our photoshoot day she helped us with poses, went above and beyond to get good frames, it also rained during our last few photoshoots but they actually turned out amazing and are one of my favorites. Communication throughout was very easy and we had a zoom session a week before our trip with Silvi which was great since we knew what to expect on the day of the photoshoot. I totally recommend their services!

Amazing photographer and beautiful work
We definitely recommend hiring Sweet Fire Photography they did such an amazing job! She was able to capture our entire wedding day and put it into a beautiful 3 minute clip we will treasure forever. The pictures they took came out so beautiful there is not one that is not perfect.
From day 1 she has been easy to communicate with and fast with her replies which is greatly appreciated when planning a wedding so far from home! There was not a moment I did not see her and her crew working hard to capture our day from all angles.

After having Silvina capture our wedding a few years ago, we were so excited to have her capture our family and the love we share in photos. We were not disappointed!!! She is amazing! We have been to many photographers in Mexico and the USA, but Sweet Fire is hands down the best. Our 4 year old (who is hard to capture in any photos) was captured beautifully. Amazing!!!
Being a “type a”, I had a lot of anxiety flying to a foreign country and putting all of my wedding photography/videography into the hands of someone other than myself (not that I’m a photographer), but I did ALOT of research prior to going to Mexico to get married, and corresponded with many different vendors, I spent hours upon hours looking for the perfect vendor for my perfect day...
The guys were very professional, took great shots, had an amazing artistic vision, and dealt with my miserable butt in stride (I was wearing a long sleeve 4 layer chiffon dress, hair extensions, a veil in the hot Cancun sun), I was just ready for it to all be over with, and I was actually worried about how it would all turn out because I was just soooo done, but I was so over joyed with the results, and watching it all let me relive that day from an extremely happier standpoint!!
I came across Sweetfire Photography via WeddingWire.ca, and immediately felt reassured. We came up with a budget together, configured a schedule, and covered EVERYTHING I wanted, the pictures and videos were everything I pictured in my head, if not better! I’ve shared some things to social media and with friends and family and have received ‘awes’ all around, I myself have watched everything a dozen times!
I got married in Cancun February 14, 2020, luckily before this whole COVID19 pandemic took over the world... My pictures and videos came to me at the perfect time, being a nurse on the front lines, it has definitely brightened up what seems like a never ending bleak existence we’ve all come to know!

High energy & quality photos
The SweetFire team did an amazing job photographing our wedding! Such high energy and kept our wedding party (and guests) moving. We received some teaser photos so far and they are amazing, they spent so much time photographying not just us and our wedding party but also our guests. I had an idea to surprise my husband and although I hadn't mentioned it to them previously, Lincoln was onboard and it turned out amazing (they might be some of my favourite pictures from the whole wedding). We've had several guests mention how many angles the photographers were getting, how hard they were working and the sheer number of photos they were taking. We were so impressed, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the area!

We loved SweetFire!
The SweetFire team did an amazing job at my wedding in Riviera Maya at the Hard Rock Hotel. Not only did she make us feel comfortable, but she was also able to help keep things moving with my wedding coordinator. She let us have fun, be ourselves, and gave us plenty of direction. Couldn't have chosen a better Photographer and Videographer
I couldn't have chosen a best photographer for my wedding day. I had been researching for 3 months and I was unsure if I should hire a vendor outside the hotel but in talking to Silvina I decided to go with SweetFire photography as it was such a special day I wanted to make sure we would get the best pictures.
It´s so hard planning a wedding in another country but Silvina was so prompt answering all my e-mails and questions. She was organized and helped me pick out the best time for my wedding so I could have the beautiful golden sun light and plan the minutes accordingly so we would have time to take all the pictures we wanted to around the resort.
On my wedding day I woke up with a terrible allergy, my eyes were completely swollen and my skin looked like it had completely dehydrated, the makeup would not stay on. I was so worried the pictures would not look good but I just got them and they look amazing, you can’t even notice anything was wrong with my face.
As soon as Silvina and Ivan arrived at my room they started working right away. I was worried my fiancé and I wouldn’t know what to do and it would be awkward but they were so creative with the poses and locations for the photos and video that time just flew by without us even noticing. We had so much fun while they were capturing our day.
We want to renew our vows in a few years in Riviera Maya again and for sure we will be contacting SweetFire to capture and share this moment with us again!

If you are looking for the perfect photographer who will capture your favourite moments, SweetFire Photography is the way to go. After much research, we finally decided to work with Silvina and we are so happy that we did. She was beyond efficient and effective at providing instructions to the guests. She ensured we got all our family photos taken in a timely manner while making everyone feel included. Our newlywed session was so much fun! Perfect! Highly recommend this amazing team
Extremely happy with the service and the price! We chose Sweetfire to capture our wedding of 43 guests at the Azul Fives resort in Playa del Carmen. Silvina and her partner were very professional, organized and a delight to work with. I was very impressed with her direction to get everyone in the pictures we wanted and she knew all the spots at the resort and we got everything we wanted, even when we had new ideas spontaneously. We chose to also work with the videographer team that Sweetfire works with as well, and the entire team of 2 photographers and 2 videographers was wonderful.
From the moment I contacted Sweetfire while looking at different photography options, they were prompt and easy to communicate with. They were not ever pushy, and answered all my questions and spoke to any hesitations I had. I emailed Silvina directly throughout our wedding planning.
I would absolutely recommend Sweetfire! My only regret was that I didn't book them longer than 5 hours :), looking back I wish we agreed to have them with us as long as possible.

Silvina was so easy to work with from day 1. Communication was clear and questions were answered promptly. On the day of the wedding, Silvina and her colleague arrived early and worked so hard for the duration, capturing getting ready shots, ceremony, friends and family formals and newlyweds. Her direction was clear and she made us feel at ease. Her fees were very purse friendly! She produced a short film of sneak peeks that we were able to use at our reception, and then the rest of the package arrived 8 weeks later as promised. All in all, a 5 star service and we would highly recommend. I booked Silvina and Lincoln from Sweetfire Photography for my May 2018 wedding after EXTENSIVE research into photographers in the area. I booked a combo photo and video package (they work with Fractal Video, a separate company). They not only beat many competitors prices but they were also the sweetest! On our wedding day it rained and they managed to make it look like the most exciting, adventurous, and tropical wedding and put us right at ease. They were getting down on hands and knees to make shots and were up to do almost anything to get a good photo, they are a wonderful photography team! As well, our timing was all messed up and Silvina kept things moving along, even offering to stay a little longer when our time ran out and we still hadn't done the Father Daugher/Mother Son dances. They were an awesome team to work with and I had many compliments about them in the days following. They have a creative eye and will certainly capture the romance of your day. I highly recommend you reach out to them for any photography needs!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Silvina! She was so energetic, very thoughtful in all the poses and locations she chose and really good at instructing you what to do in photos so they turn out well! The photos turned out better than I had imaged. The angles she was able to get, lighting, backgrounds, etc. were exactly what you'd hope for! She was always very quick to respond to emails, communicating with her about the actual wedding day was very easy and she was proactive in making plans and letting me know she had everything planned and accounted for. Absolutely amazing wedding photographer!
We came across Sweetfire Photography when researching photographers for our destination wedding in the Cancun area. Given the fact that all of the on-line reviews were very positive we elected to give them a go.
They (the owner, Silvina) immediately responded to our initial query we made on their website. Subsequent to this initial contact, Silvina was extremely helpful in putting together a plan and proposal that was tailored to our individual needs, very competitive and exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day. Throughout the whole process and whether by email or telephone, I could not believe how timely the responses were (even over Christmas and New Years when Silvina was away in the Dominican vacationing with her family!).
On the day of the wedding, Silvina and her husband, Lincoln (her “assistant”) were fantastic. They showed up right on schedule and at the time promised and were fantastic to work with. They made our guests and ourselves all feel really comfortable (they are both a lot of fun too).
We recently received the finished product and the photos are amazing!!! They did a fantastic job of capturing our wedding day on film.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use Sweetfire Photography. Great people, amazing service and an amazing product at a great price!

I must say sweet fire is the absolute best at what they do. I planned an ellaborate proposal and by the end of the day it all fell apart (I missed my bookings and lost my wallet). Silvina and her team were our saviours, not only did they cheer us up, I was still able to propose to my girlfriend, now fiance and it is a moment she would forever remember. If you want or need photographers these are the people you should choose.
Our photographers were very well done. We are not experience models and Silvina and Lincoln turned us into fashionistas for the day. The photoshoot was absolutely glorious and I say with complete confidence, this is one of the best purchases I have made in my lifetime.
To date my fiance and I are still talking about the proposal, the photos and how it all came together. I recommend sweet fire and there team for all your photography needs. Trust me...you would not regret it.

Shari listened intently and was able to quickly grasp what kind of couple we are and the kind of photography we like. Shari is a phenomenal photographer and person. She was so kind, warming and inviting. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and really showed us how to enjoy the process of the shoot.
Her photos are AMAZING a d pricing was also in a good range for the destination and quality of the photos.
I would shoot with Shari again in the future. She is a wonderful person and photographer and you would be crazy not to book her!

Shari and Marc were amazing! The Shari-Vision as Marc calls it. We contacted Shari from Toronto, our wedding to take place in the Mayan Riviera, and from the get-go her enthusiasm and professionalism was apparent just through a phone call.
Lead up to us meeting Shari on the day of our wedding, she was extremely responsive, helpful, accommodating and attentive to our needs / wants. We truly felt like she went out of her way to make us happy, which we can't appreciate enough. She was on top of her game and made sure she got all the information that we would require to make sure they're ok to come to our resort, and a bunch of other information that I won't bore you with.
Day of the wedding, they photographed for like 10 hours!!! I couldn't be happier. We had a the getting ready part, church ceremony, beach ceremony, wedding party photos, ladies / gents, couples shoot in like 3 locations, and reception photography. We didn't make their lives easy, but the calm and professionalism they maintained throughout the night was just incredible.
Post wedding, the photos were ready for us earlier than expected, as we were heading on another long weekend trip so we scrambled to get them downloaded and look through on the flight. People were looking at us weirdly when all we'd say "Omg I love it. Wow. Amazing. Jeez look at the colours. Holy"

For our wedding in Mexico we looked at several wedding photographers and are so happy we chose Sweet Fire to capture our special day. Shari and her assistant were amazing. She was very easy to work with and everything felt very natural and not 'staged'. During our stay we were able to see a couple other beach weddings and their photographer’s in action which made us that much more grateful that we chose Sweet Fire. We received our photos within the promised time frame and LOVE how they turned out. We have too many favorites that it’s difficult narrowing down which ones to frame. We highly recommend Sweet Fire.

Booking Shari from Sweet Fire Photography was single handedly the best decision we made while wedding planning. My husband and I debated for months about whether or not to find a photographer to bring from our area (Pennsylvania, USA), hire someone from Mexico, or use our resort provided photographer. We viewed portfolios from many different photographers, but when we viewed Sweet Fire Photography we knew our decision had been made for us. Choosing a photographer who lived in a different country was a little daunting at first, but even through email I could tell Shari was the perfect fit. She was extremely prompt and organized from minute one. She had quick responses to emails from my initial inquiry to the week before the wedding. She adapted our package based on what our needs were and even graciously gave us a discount to help offset our hefty vendor fee. Shari and her assistant were so friendly and inviting. They honestly fit right in with our guests. They made us laugh and connected with us during our picture taking extravaganza, which was so helpful in capturing true, raw smiles! Our images were delivered via a file transfer online and the quality was impeccable. Our photographs will forever be cherished. If you're planning a destination wedding or are from the area, please look no farther. Shari and Sweet Fire Photography are undoubtedly the way to go!

I used Sweet Fire Photography for my destination wedding and she was amazing from top to bottom. Booking a photographer from another country for such an important event was a bit nerve-racking but Shari put me at ease. Her responsiveness to my emails was great and Shari communicated with me leading up to the wedding and let me send her all the ideas that I had about pictures I wanted. Shari was so easy to work with and has a true talent for making everyone to feel at ease and comfortable. My 5 year daughter was a little hesitant about the pictures but Shari was great with her and got her totally into it! Shari captured every image that I wanted and so many more that I didn't even know I wanted! Her price was better than any other photographer I could find and her quality of work is one of the best around too! I am SO happy that I chose Sweet Fire Photography. I couldn't have asked for better pictures- they totally exceeded my expectations! Every time I look at the pictures, it is like reliving my wedding day all over again. I would HIGHLY recommend Sweet Fire Photography to anyone getting married in the Cancun/Mayan Riviera area,

Shari and the Sweet Fire team were amazing! Coordinating a photographer over email seemed to be a bit of a leap of faith but after reviewing Sweet Fire's work and pricing packages, we knew they were the best choice for our budget and the style of photography we wanted. There were no limits to what they would do to get the right shot (Shari had her hair in the sand and her feet in the water during our session!) and we really appreciated it! They were extremely easy to work with and down right fun to have at our wedding :) We would definitely recommend Shari and the team to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in Riviera Maya. I can't say enough great things about Shari and her team! Shari and her assistant Marc are amazing, they made everything stress free and they were so much fun! Shari was great from the beginning responding to all my emails right away and so helpful with all my questions. It rained on my wedding day so I was a little worried about not getting the outside pictures that I had planned on the beach but the ideas that Shari had were better than anything I could have thought of. She is very creative and so sweet :) I absolutely love all the photos I received the only problem is trying to pick which ones I want to put on my wall!

I'm not going to lie we were nervous hiring someone from over 3000 miles away. Shari at Sweet Fire was amazing. We contacted her very early on in our planning, she was helpful she made suggestions and was very responsive to all my inquiries.
The day of the wedding came and once we met her and her second shooter (Mark) we knew our day was in good hands. Our guests had so so much fun with them we've received our outstanding photos and non stop raves from our guests about them.
Even when our day ended up with some rainy moments we made it work and those are some of our favorite photos.
If I was to give any bride advice no matter how far away you are traveling from it would be: Hire Sweet Fire and make sure you have them cover your whole day (a 5+ hour booking) you will never regret it!

Shari was very professional and FUN. Our day was amazing and I wouldn't change anything about it.
She provided me with pricing and answered all my questions very quickly and professionally! Shari and Marc (assistant) showed up on time on the wedding day and were wonderful to work with!! I am blown away by how amazing and beautiful my photos are, Shari and Marc did a wonderful job!! Everyone who has seen the photos are incredibly impressed and keep commenting on how good of a photographer Shari is! I highly recommend her!!! You won't be disappointed with Shari!!!!!!
