We are Nicole and Nicolas, and our dream was a Peter Pan inspired wedding with turquoise blue colors at a cenote in Mexico. Planning everything from Australia was challenging, especially since we had to trust our providers completely.

I had a very specific vision for my elopement, in that I wanted the photos to be incredibly candid, casual, and docustyle. My husband and I wanted to have every detail captured to show our families at home, since the trip was just the two of us. I had discussed my vision with a handful of photographers and the only one to make me feel comfortable was Armando. He was very eager to take on my unique project. We used Playah Productions for photo and video. The price was fantastic and it was easy to contract and make a deposit. Later I also hired his wife, Ana, for assistance in planning the wedding. I am a very hands on person with specific attention to detail. I was often asking Armando questions. He was always there to help through WhatsApp and we had a few video calls prior to the big day. I had hired a wedding planner that did not pan out and the resort was not helpful in my planning at all. That’s when I asked Armando about hiring someone that was local. He suggested his wife, seeing she is an experienced wedding planner. Ana was amazing. Just like Armando, incredibly receptive to my ideas and available to help. Having the two of them leading up to my wedding was a God send. I would not have made it without them! Planning an elopement is hectic because you are not physically in the area. They were there to help every step of the way. I had a beautiful day thanks to them and my husband and I were so happy. On the day of the wedding, all my requests were followed. Everything was perfect. We didn’t feel like we were at a photo shoot, the day wasn’t forced, the photos were incredibly natural, and we felt comfortable to enjoy our day. We had fun with this team! The photos and the video are exactly what I wanted. The quality is perfect. Armando really made the vision that I had come to life. I love the content and besides saying “I do” to my husband…hiring Playah Productions was the best decision I made for my wedding!
