  Amazing Florist!

  Sherwood helped make our wedding day absolutely beautiful, with carefully crafted centerpieces, bouquets, and greenery, it was everything we had imagined. Starting with the initial consultation, they were extremely easy to work with and tailored everything to match the style we wanted. When we needed to make changes or add items to our order they were extremely flexible. On our wedding day, they arrived early and got right to work, with everything in place well ahead of our arrival! I'll let the pictures do it justice!

  We were given a recommendation by friends and some of our other wedding vendors to use Sherwood Florist, and we are very glad that we followed their recommendations! We had some vague ideas on color, texture and content, but all we really needed to say was “succulents” and they took that idea and absolutely ran with it. I had thoughts of incorporating candle light with the floral arrangements and Carley did an amazing job of making candle clusters with the flower arrangements down the aisle and on either side of the main flower arrangements at the front of the ceremony venue. She also created great candle arrangements on the bar and a wonderful cascading floral arrangement for the cake. The boutonnieres and wrist corsages were on point. The quality and fullness of the centerpieces exceeded our expectations! Carley was so helpful with her suggestions on what to use and how. I really can’t say enough about the whole experience. Very professional, very beautiful and very easy. We would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a quality florist.

  Jessie and her team did a phenomenal job on all of the flowers and decorations. My bouquet turned out just as I imagined and the centerpieces were wonderful. I highly recommend them not only for the price but also for the quality.

  We first heard of Sherwood Florist at our reception venue when we asked who did the lighting in the room. We made an appointment to check them out. We had planned to meet with another florist the following week, but after meeting with Jessie we canceled the other consultation. Sherwood provided flowers for our bridal party and centerpieces, and hung bistro lighting at our reception. Jessie knew exactly what we wanted and even offered some options that might look good in our bouquets too - she was right! The flowers were STUNNING and everything I hoped they would be and more. They were even able to add a few sentimental items to our bouquets which made them even more special. We will definitely be recommending Sherwood Florist to friends and family!

  From the time I met Jessie, I was hooked. She is so creative and talented - I was just in awe. Our wedding flowers were individual works of art. I absolutely loved them. We sent centerpieces home with several aunts/parents/etc and they all could not believe how long the flowers lasted after the wedding. Jessie and Sherwood Florist are special. I would recommend Sherwood Florist to anyone for any event. She grows a lot of her own flowers and her dahlias are just incredible. Check out her Instagram @sherwoodflorist and go meet with her. You won't regret it!

  Jessie was amazing to work with!! She did flowers for a wedding I was in a few years ago and she was my first choice when I started planning my own wedding. Highly recommended and reasonably priced! I have a hard time envisioning what flowers I wanted, but I showed her a few pictures of different bouquet styles and the wedding theme I was going for, and she came up with an amazing design for flowers and ceremony/reception decor. She was very flexible with adding/subtracting flowers and decor based on fewer guests being able to attend.

  I pretty much gave them creative freedom with one pinterest picture I liked. My bouquets and centerpieces turned out better than I could have imagined. I had a hard time leaving for my honeymoon because they were so beautiful.

  We hired Sherwood for our wedding on 9/5/15 and I can't speak highly enough of them! Jessie was so responsive, organized and helpful. The flowers were GORGEOUS on our wedding day. We were coming in from out of state for the wedding and Jessie met with me after her shop closed, which was very thoughtful. I instantly felt comfortable and at ease with her and she understood my style, which was important. I highly recommend using them!

  Sherwood Florist was absolutely amazing! I explained my vision for the flowers to Jessie and she put together the perfect bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony flowers, and reception centerpieces! We spent months collecting containers and provided her with boxes of containers to use for the centerpieces - she put them together beautifully. I cannot say enough good things about Sherwood Florist! I recommend that all couples meet with them - you won't regret it!

  Sherwood was EXACTLY what I was looking for for our big day! We met with Jessie and I had some specific ideas for our ceremony flowers and centerpieces. Sherwood was the only florist we met with that allowed us to rent everything we wanted (lanterns, flower boxes, easel). Also, Jessie took my vision and brought it to life. I didn't get to see the ceremony flowers until I was walking down the aisle due to our venue location and it was PERFECT! Our centerpieces were perfect also and Jessie did a mock of those with me a couple weeks before the wedding also so I felt good about them. Jessie also helped us come up with ways to use our ceremony flowers as reception decor so we got a great value! They also used lace from my mom's vail to wrap my bouquet and it was beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice to use Sherwood!

  A month before the wedding, Jessie met us at the venue (30 minutes away) with a "mock up" of the centerpiece. This allowed my daughter to "tweek" it to her exact desire! The centerpieces were in tall and short glass vases with clear marbles in the bottom and an LED light in the top which gave a WOW look to the reception hall!! They also put the arrangements in plastic containers so we could lift them out and take them to Hospice to share after the wedding. (My mother passed a year before and this was important to me).
  
  The tulle and flowers on the gazebo were just how my daughter wanted them. They also designed an "S" on the aisle for decoration and it looked very nice. I would have liked a bit more color. They were still laying the flowers a bit too close to when the ceremony guests were arriving.
  
  They also did the flowers for the bridal showers and they were Beautiful!!!

  I received a quote prior to going to Sherwood Florist. I then didn't get any information back regarding what we could do to bring down the price to my budget (900 over budget with the first place). Talked it over with my soon to be hubby and we decided to go talk to Sherwood Florist since that is always where he gets flowers for me :)
  We were able to go in, sit right down with Jessie and within 20 min we had a beautiful arrangement with my budget exactly! She didn't try to oversell me anything! She was so sweet and made me feel confident with my choice to go to Sherwood.
  I wasn't 100% sure what the boutique would look like, my sister picked them up the day of the wedding and called me, she was so excited how beautiful all the flowers looked. Once I got to the venue of the wedding I looked at the boutiques and cried, they were 1million times prettier than anything I could have imagined!
  Sherwood Florist is a family owned, long time staple of Dayton and so happy that we went with them. I couldn't imagine my wedding now with any other vendor.

  Sherwood Florist made beautiful floral arrangements for my daughter's wedding. Her bridal bouquet was exactly as she wanted it and the centerpieces on all 25 reception tables were lovely. Along the way, we had to have a change of venue which changed much of our floral needs but Jessie was very accommodating and flexible. The flowers added so much to the ambiance of the venue and to the wedding pictures. They were truly lovely!

  Sherwood Florist was great! I got all of my corsages and boutonnieres from there. I went to another florist first and they had very tacky ribbon. Sherwood Florist had pretty ribbon that looked right for a wedding. The lady was very helpful when I described what I wanted.   Sherwood Florist was great! I got all of my corsages and boutonnieres from there. I went to another florist first and they had very tacky ribbon. Sherwood Florist had pretty ribbon that looked right for a wedding. The lady was very helpful when I described what I wanted. She even made a suggestion that turned out much better than what I had in mind! She also made a last minute corsage for me without making me feeling like an inconvenience.   Jessie and Bev at Sherwood are THE BEST. So easy to work with, CREATIVE, very up-to-date on current trends, affordable. I have NEVER been disappointed with anything from Sherwood, and have recommended them to many friends.. Weddings are their specialty.

  Absolutely Beautiful Arrangements!

  So glad we decided to use Sherwood Florist for our wedding floral arrangements! They worked with our budget and helped shape my vision for our centerpieces. The mock-up event 4 months prior really helped answer any questions we had and finalize the details. I loved the way everything turned out! Thank you!!

  Oh my goodness... if you want some of the most stunning floral arrangements and bouquets you have ever seen.. you need to work with Sherwood Florist. From the moment you step into their gorgeous shop, Jessie, the owner, walks you through everything. She will not make you feel silly if you don't know exactly what you want. Just give her an idea (tall, short, candles, sparkles, lots of color, texture, etc). and she will show you types of flowers and differing vases/vessels for those flowers. And if you really have no idea.. just ask her. She is so creative and really knows what works well together. In addition to gorgeous centerpieces, altarpieces and bouquets/bouts, Sherwood Florist has exceptional customer service. When it seemed that my coordinators had lost our table name holders, Sherwood went back to their shop (unasked!) and attempted to find frames or a suitable alternative. Luckily, we found them.. but seriously, book Sherwood Florist.. they are knowledgeable, their flowers are amazing and look stunning in pictures.. and they are a dream to work with.

  Sherwood was recommended to me by another bride after I looked into the flower man and their prices were insane! Sherwood was affordable and the flowers were very nice. Only complaint is that we had a meeting 2 weeks out and went over everything, ribbon ect.- The flowers were all correct but the ribbon was total opposite of what we talked about and my bouquet I had given them a pattern ribbon to use- she took like 3 feet and the day of 1 foot of ribbon was tied on the end in a knot and that was it. I also gave them a charm to put on it- I thought they would use wire to secure the charm, they just stuck it on a flower and it flapped all over the place, I took it off 10 minutes into photos. Also I ordered a toss bouquet and it was suppose to be a smaller version on my boutique (Gerber daisies)-I never saw it and we have no idea if it actually made it to the reception but when I contacted them about it they said it was a white rose bouquet which was even more of a surprise since I hate roses and that was nothing we had talked about. They were supposed to refund me and 6+weeks out, I’m still waiting. Overall, flowers were not a big deal to me and Sherwood got the job done and was affordable comparing them to other places.
