  We used Shane for our engagement pictures and wedding. I can't recommend Shane enough! I am super camera shy and I was worried about being being awkward while someone was capturing your most intimate moments. We chose him because we immediately felt at ease in front of him--more so than the other photographers we met with.
  
  His pictures are fantastic too! Perfect mix of candid, traditional, and artsy. He got the first batch of pictures back to us the day after the wedding. So quick!
  
  I would highly recommend Shane to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! He's great.

  We had the pleasure of working with Shane for our engagement and wedding photography. He is so easy to get along with and makes you feel comfortable almost immediately! We cannot thank him enough. His pictures really catch the emotional and special moments of your special day. I highly highly recommend him! You will not be disappointed :)

  Shane was our photographer for both our engagement photos and wedding. He was fun, friendly, and easy to work with. We got way more pictures form our wedding than I ever imagined, and he was able to capture each moment perfectly. He also got the pictures back to us SO QUICKLY! We were on our honeymoon when we got the first sneak peek, and he had the full set ready a little over 2 weeks after the wedding.

  Shane was by far the best investment we made in our wedding from a vendor-standpoint. We worked with him on our engagement photos, as well as our wedding. It can be kind of awkward to hire someone to follow you around and take pictures all day, but Shane immediately made us feel comfortable and like ourselves, which resulted in some AMAZING photos. We had so much fun throughout the whole process.
  
  The quality of Shane's photos are the best I've seen from any wedding photographer. Shane is so creative with his composition; none of our photos look sterile, posed, or canned, as so many wedding photos tend to be. He beautifully captured the emotion of our day. And he was so thorough! Looking through the entire set of photos, we discovered moments we didn't even know happened. Shane was able to be a third pair of eyes for us, helping us capture so many amazing moments all day long.
  
  I can't recommend Shane enough. He is professional, friendly, and ridiculously talented. I am so, so happy we chose him to capture our day. We couldn't be happier. Thank you, Shane!!

  Shane was amazing to work with! Shane took our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and both were outstanding. He has an amazing eye and has a gift for creating works of art in your images. There were so many beautiful pictures, we had a hard time choosing which one's to put up in our house!

  Shane truly is amazing! My husband and I came earlier in the year from out of town to check out our venue and we had a short time span of meeting all possible vendors. Shane was more than accommodating to meet us at our venue site for the initial meeting to help us out with our timeline that weekend. We told Shane our budget for the photography and he worked with us to give us a great deal that included him being present all day for our wedding with no extra charge. At the event he was very involved with taking pictures and even getting down on the floor and using different angles to capture different types of photos. Shane has an incredible artist eye for photography and after reviewing the pictures, I am so pleased the with results. He has been super responsive with working with me during my long distance planning. Shane is truly the professional and very talented photographer. I could not have asked for a better photographer. I would highly recommend Shane for your wedding or event. Thank you Shane for everything! You rock!! :-)

  Shane was great. Was flexible to travel to a remote location and the photographs are amazing. Quick turn around time on any communication and questions. Made for a relaxing experience for my wife and me. Would recommend Shane to anyone that asked for amazing photography.

  Shane was absolutely amazing! He was there to capture every moment, but was extremely nonintrusive. While we were getting ready he took great candids, including many artistic shots that we love! After the ceremony he went through the formal portraits quickly and efficiently so that we had time to do some fun shots of just the two of us; they are spectacular. At the reception, he took fantastic candids; everyone at our reception was constantly dancing and he did an absolutely spectacular job capturing the energy of the evening. The slideshows that he put together for us after made everyone who watched them cry; they were perfect. I am so glad that we used Shane, I would recommend him to everyone!

  Shane was perfect. I can't think of a single thing he could have done better. I was very picky about who I chose. Part of my work as an Art Director is judging photography, and I find much of the wedding photography that I see to be a tad cheesy, cliched, and amateurish. Shane's photography is elegant, classic, and absolutely beautiful. He aims to capture an honest portrayal of your wedding and he certainly succeeded with our wedding.
  
  He's extremely nice. He has great manners. He's careful to stay out of the spotlight and blend into the background. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with Shane, and I would give him my highest recommendation. He's a consummate professional.

  Shane Snider has been a photographer that I have had my eye on for about 6 years now. When I worked the wedding circuit in Raleigh with A Southern Soiree, I had the pleasure of getting to know him throughout time. All the pictures that I have seen that Shane has taken have been unbelievable. I don't consider just a photographer, but rather an artist. His work is so different from anything that I have ever seen and was able to capture my wedding with the most AMAZING pictures! He not only captured real moments, but allowed me to feel those real moments again by looking at the pictures he took of my wedding. He makes everything so easy and effortless. He is well worth any investment and pictures should be the greatest investment you make. I would recommend ANYONE to him and you cannot go wrong working with Shane! He is truly ONE OF A KIND!

  Shane delivered above and beyond expectations. He was very generous in working within our budget and ultimately provided a very high quality product. We were looking for a photographer who was truly an artist -- not just someone who can snap shots with an expensive camera -- and we truly found this with Shane. Highly recommended.

From the very beginning he was willing to work within our budget and ended up giving as a great deal :) Shane did such a great job with our engagement session and was able to get fantastic shots even in the rain! On the wedding day he did such a great job making me feel comfortable (since I easily shy away from cameras) and ended up providing us with an amazing slideshow and over 1200 photos within a week. The photos were truly a work of art, I feel as though I'm reliving the day each and every time I look at them. He was able to capture every special moment from the entire day and I can't thank him enough. I highly recommend Shane Snider Photography!!

We loved his work for our Spring wedding at The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, including the slideshows played to our favorite music!   Hiring the right photographer was one of the most important elements of our wedding; we really wanted someone who understood our unique vision and would deliver beautiful, artistic images of both the traditional moments as well as the spontaneous ones. I was very particular because I love photographs and knew these would be in our home and enjoyed by us for years to come.
  
  So I was elated when we finally found Shane! He was a pleasure to do business with and we were thrilled with his work. His photographs not only follow the unique story our of wedding day, they are incredible, artistic images we are proud to have in our home.

  Shane. Was. Awesome!!! He is not only talented as a photographer but was very helpful in recommending other vendors. I look forward to an excuse to work with Shane again. He is wonderful, talented & great to work with.

  Our choice to hire Shane Snider as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I recently received the photographs, and they are gorgeous. Might I also add that I was able to view all of them only a week after our wedding. Shane's perspective is both photojournalistic as well as artistic . He is also a master of the more classic shots. He has won countless awards for bridal photography. Shane also has a killer sense of humor and is also very flexible and easy to work with.
