  We worked with Callie and Olivia on our wedding day - they were both very professional, very kind, and very prepared for our big day to ensure pre and post wedding photos were handled in a timely manner. Our guests enjoyed their willingness to snap impromptu photos and we are thankful they noted our most desired shots. Overall, we had a great experience working with Nancy Ray Photography.

  The quality of service and professionalism we received while working with Nancy Ray Photography and Callie Davis was amazing! She was so incredibly helpful with answering questions and making my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. Sometimes, it took up to a couple of days for a response, but they make it very clear in their emails the amount of time that you should expect them to email back in. The prices are more expensive than other photographers, but it is due to their use of film photography. All in all, they were an absolutely exceptional, and I would highly recommend using Callie as a photographer!

  From the moment that I met Nancy Ray and Callie and saw their portfolios, I knew I wanted to book with their company. They are warm, inviting, kind, thoughtful, and above all, deeply talented. Callie drove over an hour on a warm August day to take our engagement photos, which were complimentary with the package we bought. We loved how they turned out! Then on our wedding day, the photographers really had a chance to shine. Callie and Olivia came and shot for more than 10 hours, and captured everything from me putting on my dress to our sparkler exit. They captured every moment! It was as though they were everywhere the second I turned around and thought that what was occurring would be a good photo opportunity. Their demeanor was so impressive, I wish I could hang out with them even now that the wedding is over!
  
  The best part of their services, though, were how they went above and beyond. My husband and I got married during a hurricane, which barred us from taking any outdoor pictures. We were saddened by this, as we got married at Fearrington Village, which has beautiful gardens. Before I could even ask, Callie offered to come back the day after the wedding, let us get dressed up, and do some outdoor photos. The fact that she came all the way back to allow us to get that special opportunity was more than we asked for or deserved, but that is just the nature of Nancy Ray Photography. If you are lucky enough to work with them, you will understand that their hearts are fully invested in the legacy they create. I plan to use them for all photography needs in the future. Their photographs are only outshined by the quality of people that work there!

  I’m gonna try to sum up my love for this company as best I can! We researched photographers for so long before deciding on Nancy Ray, but we’re so glad we did! Callie was our photographer and she is so easy-going and just one of those people you feel like you’ve known forever. She was calm, cool and collected throughout all of our photography sessions and she made things really easy on us. My husband wasn’t too keen on having someone take a bunch of photos of us (which, most guys aren’t!) but after we left our engagement session he made a comment about how Callie really knew what she was doing, since he felt like she wasn’t even there! I don’t have a single complaint about our engagements, bridals, or wedding photos. They’re all frame worthy. Another great thing about NRP is their attention to detail. Callie had me send her specific photos that I’d want at the wedding, and since the wedding went by so fast and everything was a blur, I was pleased to find when we got our photos back we had each photo that I’d requested. Believe me, when it's your wedding day and you're super stressed out, the last thing you want to do is to try to remember certain shots you wanted. NPR really goes the extra mile to make sure you’re pleased with everything. They even sent us a cute little Christmas gift!
  
  In short, I could go on all day about how great our experience was with the NRP team. If you’re considering using them, you totally should. Your wedding photos will be around for a lifetime, so it’s definitely worth the investment.

  Callie Davis with Nancy Ray Photography was the absolute perfect wedding photographer!   It was an absolute joy to work with Callie. She was professional, yet warm - we felt like we were working with a friend. (Even my bridesmaids commented on how enjoyable it was spend time with her!) We worked with Callie in advance of our wedding day, discussing timelines, specific photos we wanted, etc. When our wedding day arrived, it was clear how seriously Callie took her job. She was prepared with ideas for locations to shoot, and helped us stay on schedule.
  
  The photos we ended up were absolutely beautiful!

  Callie and the rest of the NRP team were hands down the best photographers I have ever worked with. Callie is not only professional, but she is also down-to-earth, genuine, warm, and has become a dear friend to me. NRP and their photography are like works of magic. They are breathtaking; each and every one you see. Callie did a lot of film photography on our big day and I have to say, those photos are ones we will cherish for our lifetime. I wish we could have Callie capture all of our life's moments!

  Callie and the rest of the NRP team were hands down the best photographers I have ever worked with. After meeting with Callie and Nancy to discuss vision, I noted that they had the same simple, classic taste that I did, and it was reflected in their photos. I was drawn to their passion, their kindness, and of course, their talent. I loved that on the big day (not to mention for the engagement session and bridals), the person behind the lens would be a young woman who had been in my nervous shoes not long before. She communicated with me frequently leading up to the big day, making sure we knew exactly what to expect from each other so she didn't miss a beat. The photos we have gotten back from Callie are just above and beyond. She made me look and feel like a princess not just for those few hours, but every time I look at her pictures covering our wall. Callie (and Nancy, and Elizabeth!) are the best!

Following her blog between our engagement session and wedding day, I really felt like I knew the girls behind the cameras at my wedding which made the experience so personable and relaxing.   Nancy was amazing!
  Our engagment photos: She made us feel so at ease. And she made us feel like we were the most beautiful couple on the planet! We had so much fun!
  Our wedding: She was quick, efficient, and knew exactly what she wanted us to do and didn't hesitate in getting things done! She was so wonderful. She laughed with us and joined right in on the fun!

  The statement, “a picture is worth a thousand words” is so true. However, when you have Nancy snapping your picture, you have so many wonderful photographs speaking to you!
  We wanted a photographer that could capture the events leading up to the wedding and of course, the special day itself. We knew the minute we met Nancy for the consultation meeting that she was THE perfect photographer for us. She understood our vision, purpose and wishes for our wedding day. Nancy knew that family, friends and faith are very important in our lives and that we wanted all of them highlighted throughout the wedding process—and from getting to know her, we realized those things are very important to her as well.
  Our engagement shoot was our first experience in front of the camera. We felt extremely comfortable working with Nancy. She reassured us during the shoot and made us feel like a million bucks. Needless to say, the pictures turned out beautiful.
  My bridal portrait session was held a few weeks before the wedding. Nancy made sure I was comfortable with each shot during that afternoon. Once again… no surprise, the photos are glamorous.
  Leading up to the wedding, Nancy and her intern, Callie, showed up to shoot our rehearsal dinner. You did not even know they were there—and they had some great shots of the evening to share!
  On the wedding day itself, Nancy, Callie & Wil knew exactly the right moments to shoot! We just saw the pictures in our wedding album… and all we could say is WOW! The images are AMAZING!!! The Nancy Ray team captured all of the beautiful moments & more. We will treasure these pictures for a lifetime. You will be making a wonderful decision in hiring Nancy & team to shoot your wedding. They will exceed your expectations and capture the true beauty of your wedding day!

  Simply stated.....Nancy is the best!! She produces beautiful images, is fairly priced and is oh so kind! I was blown away with all of the beautiful images she captured at my wedding. I am very critical of myself in pictures and there were honestly none that I didn't LOVE!! Also, you HAVE to add The Picture Box to your package. Its a blast!!!

  Nancy Ray did an amazing job! She was so great from start to finish. My now husband and I are not huge on having our pictures taken, but Nancy was so professional and fun that she made it a great experience and we had an awesome time. We just got our pictures back from the wedding and they are so far beyond what we expected! Nancy immediately got some pictures up on her blog just days after the wedding so we could get a "sneak peak." She communicated wonderfully and guided us through each shoot. Nancy Ray is the best choice in vendor for my entire wedding. I would hire her again and again and recommend her highly! You won't be disappointed!!

  Nancy Ray did an amazing job! She was so great from start to finish. My now husband and I are not huge on having our pictures taken, but Nancy was so professional and fun that she made it a great experience and we had an awesome time. We just got our pictures back from the wedding and they are so far beyond what we expected! Nancy immediately got some pictures up on her blog just days after the wedding so we could get a "sneak peak." She communicated wonderfully and guided us through each shoot. Nancy Ray is the best choice in vendor for my entire wedding. I would hire her again and again and recommend her highly! You won't be disappointed!!

  Nancy was awesome! If i had to do it over again, with less money to spend, I'd cut something else and keep her on! She is so personable, which makes it easier to invite her into your most intimate moments, and professional at the same time, making sure everything gets done. And she is talented and on top of things. I'm so glad I have her pictures to see all the things I missed while i was across the room or waiting to walk down the aisle. The whole day is a blur, but she brings it back into focus!
