User2045967 Sent on 02/20/2015My experience with Fred and his staff at Moments in Time Photography began when I first started inquiring about family portrait sessions as a surprise for my mother on our end of summer travel. During the height of the tourist season in Sarasota, Fred promptly responded to my email inquiry within two days and followed up our conversation over the phone a day or two later. Having worked with photographers in both professional and personal environments, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge/experience, forthcoming of information/what to expect and emphasis on customer satisfaction. All of which are strong indications of the company and its successful business spanning several decades. Having booked their services months in advance, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call the week before, and again the day before and of, to confirm the details from weather to time and meeting location. Our photographer was equally awesome in capturing the attention of not only our infant daughter, but the unrelenting men who hate having pictures taken. All parties cooperated - allowing for the traditional shots as well as tapping into her creativity for those unique shots capturing our personalities. The experience was efficient - just as the booking reviewing and ordering processes. We were quickly contacted to schedule our viewing appointment (very flexible) and appreciated the guidance and professional opinions in the selection process. We were again impressed with not only the expedition and receipt of our order - but the quality as well. We did experience one small mishap in our order that Fred and his team PROMPTLY acted upon - emphasizing our satisfaction and putting us first. Something rarely seen in the service industry today - regardless of corporation or small business status. Kristin Sent on 05/15/2013So disappointed in our wedding photos. We hired the photographer for a 2 hour time slot because we really only wanted photos from the ceremony and family/ wedding party photos (he took a number of smoke breaks during this 2 hour time period). The weather was extremely windy and foggy that day, and we were right on the water. The photographer had us take photos outside, against the wind, so everyone's hair was blowing all over the place. We made multiple comments about this and we were told that it was okay, they would photoshop the pictures so our hair would look fine (which they didn't so the photos look like we are caught in the middle of a windstorm). In a majority of the photos at least one person had their eyes closed. There are plenty of pictures of my husband with his parents, me with his mom, me with his dad, me with my husband's grandmother for crying out loud. I do not have a single picture of just me and my mom, or me and my dad. There are 406 crappy photos and I don't have a single one of me, the bride, with my parents individually. I have a whopping total of 5 photos with my parents, who paid for this photographer might I add. I have 5 photos alone with the mother of the groom, 4 photos with the father of the groom, and 5 photos with them both so a total of 14 photos with my husband's parents! The most important part of having photos is for the memories they capture. It breaks my heart that I can't put any photos into a special frame for my mom and I, or my dad and I because I have none. I didn't even order any photos that came with the package because I feel the quality is that bad. Others who have seen the quality have also commented that they aren't very good. Please, before booking a photographer who will take photos of one of the most important days of your life, look through their "Proofs" section, not just the wedding gallery to see an adequate representation of their work because that's what you end up getting.
