The Lovely Laura Leppert!

Where do I even begin? I knew Laura was the photographer for our wedding day the moment I met her in her studio, surrounded by all her amazing work. She has a smile and personality that can light up any room! Aside from her fun spirit and immense talent, my favorite thing about Laura is her flexibility and desire to make your wedding picture experience exactly what you want. Not only did she make sure to get all the shots we wanted, but she also made sure to ask key questions like “what’s important for you to have uninterrupted time during?”, etc.. My husband isn’t the biggest picture guy, so it was important for us to have a balance of getting the key pictures, while still being able to enjoy moments with our family and friends. Lastly, I have to point out how wonderful her dancing/reception pictures are! In my photographer search, I found it was not as common to find quality, high-end, reception shots. Everything Laura captured, from start to finish, looked like it could live on the cover of a magazine. Absolutely fantastic!!!

We've used Laura many times: for my daughter's wedding, family photos, and most recently, for my own second marriage. She is creative, EXTREMELY talented, and professional in all ways. Our photos were stellar , each and every time. I recommend Laura highly- don't use anyone else!!!!

Highly highly recommend!

When we originally started looking at venues, we kept seeing photos at the venues that we loved and they were always Laura's photos. Laura's style of photography is beautiful and timeless, and she captures a perfect mix of posed photographs and candids. We have gotten so many compliments on how gorgeous our pictures are, and we are personally thrilled with how they turned out.
She and her team are also amazing to work with - they made everything so easy for us both on the day of and leading up to the wedding, while making sure that no details were overlooked and no pictures were missed. She was also very communicative throughout the entire process, and always happy to jump on calls to make sure the timeline was perfect and everyone on the same page, no matter what last minute changes came up. We could not be happier that we made the decision to hire Laura and her team for our wedding, and highly, highly recommend her.

35 years ago my mom Mom and Dad had their wedding photos taken by Leppert Photography! I have always thought their photos were timeless and classy. Leppert Photography was an easy decision for us to make. After we met with Laura, we knew we made the right choice.

From our first moment with Laura to our actual wedding day, everything fell together so perfectly. Laura takes time to understand your dream and makes it reality. Every step of the way, her passion and dedication was truly evident.

A 2020 “COVID” wedding was not a challenge for Laura. She and her team did not skip a beat. They were able to adapt to the rules and regulations while making it the best day ever!

A dream to work with and always went above and beyond!

From the moment I started looking for wedding photographers and came across Leppert Photography, I instantly fell in love with her style of pictures and knew I wanted her to capture my wedding day. Laura Leppert and her team were a dream to work with and I highly recommend her to everyone. She is so easy to work with and honestly made my wedding itself so much easier, making sure we were always on time and on schedule for everything (I didn’t use a wedding planner and she was so helpful in figuring out a timeline for everything throughout the day – she has this stuff down!). Our wedding day ended up being a pretty gloomy/cloudy/rainy day, but you could never tell from our pictures! She is so talented, and just an amazing person to work with. She has such a genuine nature to her that makes her so easy to work with, and she really goes above and beyond for you, and your family. My sister was unable to come to the wedding last minute, and Laura was so thoughtful at making sure she felt included – really going above and beyond to take extra special pictures for us. We cannot thank Laura enough for her work and kind heart!

Laura and her team are the best!

My husband and I got married in November 2019 and used Laura and her team to capture our wedding day, from early morning preparations at The Summit Hotel all the way to dancing the night away at the 20th Century Theater. Throughout the whole process, Laura was professional and made us feel comfortable and relaxed (even though it was not a relaxing time in our lives!). We met with her a few times to discuss our vision and the specific photos we were looking to capture. She was always very professional and warm. And of course, the photos are amazing!! Laura and her team were very skilled at shooting the darker room at our venue and also knew how to expertly handle and capture our extremely large families under the Chuppah. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to look back at our beautiful wedding day for years to come

Laura is amazing!!

Can't recommend Laura enough! She was a breeze and so fun to work with and her pictures are absolutely stunning. I met Laura over 10 years ago when she shot my sisters senior photos. After watching her work I looked at my mom and said, "this woman will shoot my wedding!" Over a decade later I made true on that promise and Laura did not disappoint! TALK ABOUT COMMITMENT TO YOUR CRAFT. On the coldest day of the year after a horrible ice/ snow storm Laura and her team were throwing themselves on the ground, in the snow, into traffic, to get THE SHOT. She calmed me down and kept me going when I was getting tired and cranky, (hangry bride!), with finesse and comfort. She captured amazing pictures of my LARGE family and really made everyone shine! Her prompt timeline allowed for every picture I could ever imagine to happen. And her attention to all the small details made for some of my favorite shots of the day. She worked personally with my mother and me to create the wedding album(s) of our dreams, and I cannot wait to work with her again next year when she shoots my sisters wedding!!

Worth every single penny. My wife and I have the pleasure of living a few blocks away from Laura's office in Loveland. After seeing the stunning quality of her work it was a no brainer. She was the first and only photographer we met with. Laura also did our engagement photos. After seeing those we felt ridiculously confident knowing our wedding photos would be spectacular. She did not disappoint. Everyone from family, wedding party, guests, co-workers have not stopped raving at the quality of her work. I have recommended her to a few couples tying the knot in 2018. We were on a tight schedule from ceremony to reception and it didn't phase Laura one bit. Never once did we feel rushed. She even asked my wife and I if there were any specific shots she wanted. My wife wanted a picture of her and her grandfather dancing to celebrate the same photo taken when she was a child. I wanted a funny, celebratory shot of the wedding party at the bar. Both turned out fantastic along with everything else she shot. She took so many amazing shots pre/post wedding that my wife and I literally spent days figuring out what we wanted her to make into a book post wedding. We had an absolute blast with Laura and her team on our actual wedding day as we rang in the New Year together! Despite being booked weekend after weekend Laura was so quick to meet with us post honeymoon and are grateful to have received our entire spread along with a customized album that we will cherish for years to come. We felt so comfortable with her and her process, she was truly a pleasure and blessing to work with. The long and the short of it:

First, the short: Laura has an absolute gift; her work is something to behold. She will transform your perfect day into an eternal memory.

The long: Selecting a wedding photographer is like picking a fish out of a barrel, there are far too many and more often than not, most of them look the same. However, after viewing Laura's body of work, selecting her was one of the easiest decisions we had to make throughout the entire wedding process. Before the event even began, Laura asked to meet with us, at the venue, so she could feel out what she had to work with. She was diligent, thorough, and interested. She genuinely wanted to find the best locations, at the proper time of day, in order to photograph each moment as perfectly as she could. We spent 2 hours going over the grounds, discussing what we wanted as well as how we could incorporate our wishes into a game plan for the day-of. Without even batting an eye, Laura accommodated us completely and ensured that when the wedding day came, her and her and her team would be fully prepared to work swiftly and efficiently. On the wedding day, Laura's true talents emerged. She has an uncanny ability to capture an image that transcends more than just a scene. We wanted a photographer who would "blend in" and gravitate towards the organic, intangible emotion that accompanies a wedding. That is exactly what she did. With Alex and Greg in tow, Laura arrived on the scene, took charge of the moment, per our request, and worked one miracle after another. We are not photogenic people, and often cringe at the idea of being in front of a lens. But every photo, every image, every emotion was captured seamlessly and instantaneously. One of Laura's unsung capabilities is not photographic, but directorial. She commanded all of us (kindly and affectionately) where to stand, when to stand, and how to look; she made getting our photo taken fun. She listens, adapts, and implements with ease.

When we got engaged and started looking for a photographer my dad quickly recommended Leppert Photography. He had seen some work that Laura’s father did a few years back and highly recommended them. We also knew someone who had Laura photograph their wedding and were in awe of their pictures.

We called and set up a meeting with Laura at their place in Loveland. After sitting down and looking through her work and talking to her we knew we were finished looking for a photographer, even though she was the first one we met with. Laura is so easy to talk to, so funny, and LOVES what she does. Her pictures truly speak for themselves.

After booking her for our wedding we decided to have her do our engagement pictures as well. This was awesome because we had a chance to work with her and get to know her before the big day. She met us at the University of Dayton for the engagement shoot and we had fun taking her around different parts of the campus where we graduated.

A few weeks prior to the wedding I was starting to freak out about the timeline. Laura called me, made tons of suggestions, and whipped a timeline up over the phone with temporary times and a list of who I wanted pictures with – she made it seem so easy! As the date got closer she, again, called me to finalize everything. She made the whole “day of plan” a breeze as she planned the whole thing basically! She made us feel so comfortable and so prepared for what the day would look like.

A few weeks after the wedding she called us to come back to Loveland and review the pictures. We were BLOWN AWAY with how amazing the pictures are, and the amount of pictures we have to use and look at for many years to come. The pictures are truly incredible – she is beyond talented! We knew pictures were one of our most important things to book because this is all we really have left to relive our big day, and we are so unbelievably happy with the choice we made in hiring Laura!!!!

My husband, Tom, and I were lucky enough to get the last Saturday in May that Laura had available. She had come highly recommended from a family member, but she blew any exceptions we may have had out of the water.
In our first conversation on the phone I knew Laura and I had much in common. Her attention to detail and perfectionism spoke loudly to the Type A woman I am. We had some specific, rather out of the ordinary, ideas that she not only attached herself to, but she helped bring to fruition that day.
On the day of the wedding Laura was early and prepared, flanked by her two AMAZING assistants, Gabrielle and Amy. Everything we had discussed, down to the minute, was taken care of. She went out of her way to make sure we were getting the shots we wanted, but so many more we hadn't even considered. In those precious moments leading up to the ceremony, the last thing you want is stress. Laura and her team made us feel so comfortable and excited at the same time.
It was very important to Tom and me that the photographer be present but almost invisible. Laura did this SO perfectly! Of course there were moments that were posed, but overall her willingness to find those candid shots, and allow for moments of honesty, was truly remarkable. It was even more wonderful because we could tell that she and her assistants were having just as much fun as we were.
Laura's photographs are stunning! There was such variety in what we were given that it was difficult to choose our favorites. The album that she put together for us was so beautiful, because it truly told the story of our favorite day.
Tom and I can't recommend Laura (Leppert Photography) highly enough. It's easy to see that she loves what she does and her energy is infectious. Thank you so much to you Laura, and your outstanding team, for not only being a part of our special day, but for capturing those moments in time in a way that only you could. We are forever grateful.

Leppert photography was hands down one of the best vendor decisions that I made throughout the wedding planning process. I had looked into a half dozen photographers and once I met with Laura it was a done deal. Her photos were absolutely gorgeous, her pricing is reasonable, and on top of everything she is so fun and easy to work with. My husband is not a huge fan of taking pictures or posing so the idea of having a whole day of pictures (& the engagement pictures) did not excite him to say the least. He has said that Laura made him feel so at ease and made the process painless and fun. She does the perfect combination of shots so that it the album actually captures the event while still having some of the more posed group shots. Laura is so professional and will do anything to secure the perfect shot. On the day of our event Laura literally stood in oncoming traffic in downtown Cincinnati to get just the perfect lighting and angle. While I can go on and on about how perfect her skills are, I think it’s important to mention that she truly cares about the couples she’s working with and goes above and beyond to make sure that she’s capturing the event exactly how you want it. She asked us multiple times throughout the day how everything was going, how we were feeling, and if there was anything we wanted. She is truly a caring person and an awesome photographer. I would 100% recommend Laura and am going to find ways to use her again in the future for other events.

Laura was the best! She and her assistants are professionals in every aspect. They completely took the worry out of this part of the wedding. Her photographs are classy and high quality. We were amazed at the photographs because she truly captured the day but was completely unobtrusive about it. What I liked most was the sample album that she put together. How anyone can select the best out of hundreds of photographs and tell the story of the wedding day is a gift that saved us (I'm the mother of the bride) hours and hours in creating an album. A very gifted artist! We were so lucky to have Laura as our photographer.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura! I chose Leppert photography because I loved her photographs- a great mix of creative and artistic shots, cute candid moments, traditional classic pictures, and just beautiful shots. Everything I was looking for. I also loved her photo books- very professional, with great attention to detail!! After I booked her I knew no matter what, I would end up with gorgeous wedding and engagement photos and it was so nice to have one less thing to worry about! She is incredibly talented! She is also very flexible and accommodating for special pictures/requests. We set up a little photo booth (curtain and props) at our reception and asked for her second photographer to take pictures of people there at the reception. They are some of the funniest pictures of the day and showed a whole other side of the day. She made sure to get any and all shots that we wanted and made me feel so beautiful! The day of our wedding it was soo nice to have Laura, Geri, and Chelsea there. They were so relaxed and fun to be around. Laura is just an incredible, caring person!! My wedding and engagement pictures were everything I hoped for and more- beautiful, cute, posed, artistic, funny- a treasure for a lifetime! I'm so thankful I met Laura and would highly recommend her!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura and her team! Not only were our wedding photos absolutely stunning, but Laura and her team (Geri and Amy) were so fun to work with! I am so thankful I chose Laura because she was incredibly helpful with the timeline of the day, and helping us to be where we needed at just the right time! It ended up raining on our wedding day, but I would not change it for the world because we got some of the most beautiful photos in the rain. Laura's dedication to the job is very impressive, and she has a true talent for what she does. I will never forget her laying on her side in the rain to capture the perfect shot...and she nailed it! PERFECTION!!!! I wish I could attach my photos to this review to show how amazing and stunning my photographs are! Laura is amazing to work with and a great presence to be around on your wedding day. We spent a large part of our budget on photography, and it was absolutely worth it. Laura Leppert is brilliant. We loved working with her! Not only is she a delightful person who brings out the best in you on your wedding day, she is also a true professional who knows exactly what she is doing. She handles large group photos very efficiently, while also making the process fun! She had all of our photos ready within a month of our wedding, and we have received a countless number of compliments on them. She captured the day perfectly. I 100% recommend her!
