Joey was fantastic! We can’t say enough good things about him and his work! He was very responsive before, during, and after the wedding. His pricing is super affordable and the quality of his photo are so much higher than that of other photographers in the same price range! He was very punctual, the day of he arrived early and ready to work. He was very energetic! I feel like I’m pretty awkward in formal photos but all of my formal photos turned out amazing! We had a good mix of candid and formal pictures. He knew exactly how to position us all so that out photos turned out perfect. Some of the positions did feel a little awkward while they were being shot but the photos turned out amazing! Also, I received my usb drive with the pictures on them 2 weeks after my wedding so the turn around time was fantastic! We 1000% recommend Cherry Red Shoe Photography!!!

I had the most amazing wedding day yesterday with all top-notch vendors. But Joey at Cherry Red Shoe wins the award for BEST VENDOR OF ALL TIME! He genuinely loves his work, and this shows in the photos. He is wildly generous with his time. We had a 2-hour engagement photo session, and he photographed us for 3 hours, and the photos were AMAZING! We technically hired Joey for 8 hours of photography for our wedding day (which is already a lot compared to most photography packages out there), and he photographed our entire day… 12pm-11pm (11 hours!). He didn’t charge extra for this extra time, and he was already providing an affordable service. And Joey’s personality is the best (which is important because he’s with you all day)- he’s professional, calm, super fun, and he knows how to work with an awkward couple like us. He made us feel so comfortable, and he was one of the most talked-about aspects of our wedding day. Our guests loved him! I absolutely recommend Joey. He is the best.

We cannot say enough good things about Joey and Cherry Red Shoe Photography. All of our family and guests even noticed and commented on how wonderful he was during the entire day - from both the bride and groom getting ready to the ceremony and on through the reception. Just a couple of weeks after our wedding, we received all of our photos and can see that he really did capture all of the special moments of the day. Joey was amazing ! He was involved and always there to catch the moment !!!! He was so friendly and understanding with our toddler and did everything he could as quick as possible so the toddler could be in good photos!!! His assistant was also awesome she was in the background capturing whatever she saw !

Every bride wants to have the perfect wedding day, and to have those memories perfectly captured. Joey does exactly that, and more!! My sister was married in 2018 and used Joey as their photographer, and not only were the pictures creative and gorgeous, but every single guest that he interacted with raved about how fun he was!

Now, 2 years later, my husband and I decided to use Joey not only for our wedding photography, but also an engagement session. Joey has an excellent vision in his mind of what a picture will look like before he even snaps the shot! He is a true artist with his work, and I know that these pictures will be treasured forever.

As for our wedding day, Joey was always super responsive to texts, and was ready to go wherever he needed to be! For our wedding, there was quite a bit of transportation, including being at our hotel in the morning for getting ready, then to the church for the ceremony, then to a park after, and finally ending the night at our reception venue. Joey was promptly there on time, and ready to capture our day!

As I said before, the guests and our bridal party loved interacting and talking with Joey. He is a very kind person, and knows how to get the party started! Not only that, but he is truly a photo ninja! The church where we held our ceremony was quite strict with where photographers were able to be, and Joey worked his magic and was still able to capture every moment. I now look back at our pictures, which he returned to us in less than a month, and see so many moments where I don't even remember Joey being around!! I have been to friends weddings where they have a team of four photographers, and Joey by himself is able to create the same, if not better, pictures!

All in all, I would recommend Joey to everyone. He is fun, professional, and truly the best in the business.

Having Joey as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. He was extremely accommodating and flexible- spending the whole day with us and traveling around downtown so we could have pictures taken in iconic Cincinnati locations. He also hand-delivered the flash drives with our photos so we could have them before Christmas. One of the reasons we chose Joey is because I could see from the posts on his website that he really captures the spirit of the day, and our wedding was no exception.
