We're Maizie and Kaden Lucas, a husband-and-wife photography team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. With a combined 10 years of photography experience and 7 years specializing in wedding photography, we've learned that the best photos happen when you, and the people around you, feel comfortable enough to simply enjoy your day.

Your wedding day isn't just a timeline of events, it's a the beginning of a new chapter and full of memories you'll want to relive for the rest of your life, and it should feel like that too. At apr. 14 photography, we focus on preserving your special moments exactly as they happened, so every laugh, stolen glance, and funny dance floor pose we snap feels just as real years from now as it did on your wedding day.

One of the things that makes our approach special is that every wedding includes two photographers, because one perspective just isn't enough! While one of us is documenting the candid moments you may not even realize are happening, the other is focused on creating timeless portraits and making sure all of the important family and wedding-day details are beautifully captured. By working together, we're able to tell the full story of your day from beginning to end.

Our style is relaxed, true-to-color, and centered around genuine connection so we can capture your day in a way that reflects the atmosphere, energy, and love you share. We'll happily guide you when it's time for portraits, but we'll never ask you to spend your entire wedding day posing for the camera.
