Wedding Photography in Raleigh

Jeff at J.Darren Photography captured our wedding day beautifully. We had a non-traditional venue and event flow, but Jeff understood the vision right away and was able to jump in and capture every little moment of the wedding. His use of light and ability to capture people’s personalities is fantastic. When we look back at the photos of our wedding we feel like we’re right back in the moment. We would highly recommend J.Darren Photography if you want images that capture the feeling of your big day!

Julia is a naturally connective person - her authenticity made us feel right at home from the first session we had with her, and that shines through in her photos! She took our engagement photos and wedding photos, and we LOVE them all. They have so much life in them! She plays with life and movement in unique and beautiful ways, and yet our love story was still very clearly the subject of the photos. We felt like we got a really good prices for the many, many high-quality photos we received, and can't speak highly enough of our experience with Julia

While we are 4 years late, as we're looking back on our photos today, it felt like a good time to finally write the review we've been procrastinating on. (Sorry!) Tracy is the best person you could have assigned to the photographer slot on your wedding checklist in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. From the moment we first met her, she started taking notes on what was important for us on our wedding, and she captured everything we could have asked for and more. A big part of our wedding was the fact that we chose to get married on a farm whose owner specializes in growing beautiful flowers. This farmer's flowers had been a hallmark of our relationship and Tracy knew that capturing this part of our wedding was not only important to us, but something we wanted to remember for the rest of our lives. She's very easygoing, and helped keep the environment relaxed and fun throughout the day. She was also very good at getting the group photos that you would want from a wedding photographer, while not taking away from the excitement of the day. Once the group photos were done, she then seamlessly transitioned into the reception and captured more genuine and candid moments than we could have hoped for. She is great, you should hire her.

Jkseyser was an absolute blessing to our wedding! She went above and beyond for any requests we had, she was willing to work around accommodating for our needs and she does it all with ease and professionalism! We were highly impressed with how quick and practical she was, with navigating our large family and large wedding party! She got the exact golden hour couple pictures we were hoping for, while quietly slipping away not distracting from the rest of the wedding. We were thrilled anytime she would come up and sneak some amazing photos. She is a leader and in charge at just the right times you need! We were so thrilled to have her as our photographer, and would highly suggest her to everyone.

Jesse made our engagement shoot SO easy! And the photos that came out of it felt very us. You could see our emotions and movement in the photos which is exactly what we were going for. She brings excitement to the session and has prompts that don’t feel like you’re being posed and static. We are so excited for her to capture our wedding next year! Jesse’s communication ahead of the shoot and during the signing process was also timely, helpful, and kind. Would 100% recommend her!
