I have lived in the neighborhood where they are located for years and am so happy to say they are my neighborhood jewelry store. We got our engagement and wedding rings here and the service was amazing from start to finish. Never any pressure to buy or upselling, they just watched and listened carefully and showed us options and waited for us to discover the right rings for us. I had a funny thing happen actually where the ring my fiance wanted was sold to someone else. The Clay Pot's staff reassured me that everything happens for a reason and got straight to work with the designer in having new stones sent to the store for me to review. Imagine my surprise when they called me a week later to say the ring had been returned! The intended recipient had accepted the proposal but wanted a different ring! Hooray for all of us, and kudos to the Clay Pot for handling the whole thing beautifully. I will continue to shop there for all of my gift and jewelry needs. -

Sara Sent on 08/19/2012We love our wedding bands, and my engagement ring from The Clay Pot. Their jewelry is unique and we found rings that fit our style perfectly. Their website is very helpful and customer service at the store is great. Every time I go in they clean my ring(s) for free. -

We visited a few other shops before Clay Pot, but it was obvious from the moment we tried on the two Larry Pauling rings we ended up purchasing that these were the rings we'd wear forever. Jenny could not have been more helpful / un-pushy. Our friends rec'd Clay Pot to us, and we would rec Clay Pot to other friends a thousand times over. -

Alyssa Sent on 09/19/2012We purchased our wedding rings from The Clay Pot in Brooklyn. We happened in over Labor Day weekend when they were having at 15% off sale (take note!). Even though we weren't ready to buy that day, they honored the discount for us when we came back the following week to place an order. They worked with us to find the rings we liked and took the time we needed to feel secure in our purchases. The staff was knowledgable not only about the rings but also about the jewelers who make them.
I took off a star for responsiveness because when we went in to pick up our rings they couldn't find them and we had to wait a few minutes, but they showed up. There was also about a 10 minute wait to see a staff member every time we went in (perusing, ordering, trying on, resizing, total of 4 visits.) -

Melanie Sent on 11/06/2011I am very very happy with my lovely wedding band that I bought at The Clay Pot. I looked at a ton of different options, and found that Clay Pot had a lovely selection for women and a great option to compliment my antique wedding ring. The staff was very helpful and attentive, and didn't place any pressure on you to buy. I selected a lovely design, and when it arrived it was a slightly smaller size than we'd ordered, but it still fit perfectly.
I brought my husband there for his band as well, but we didn't like their men's selection as much as their women's.
I do think The Clay Pot is a great choice and has a fantastic, trustworthy selection of great independent US designers. -
User1230172 Sent on 07/07/2013Purchased my wedding band from The Clay Pot - it took me a while to figure out what I wanted, and they were very patient and professional. Love my ring - they have the most unique artisan jewelry. A little pricey for jewelry, but right price for a wedding band. -
User1045103 Sent on 12/14/2012We purchased both our wedding bands from The Clay Pot. We had never been there before, but heard good things. We first went in in August to try bands on and were told we still had plenty of time to order (for an early Nov wedding). We came back 2 weeks later to place our orders. We were told 4-6 weeks. His band came in in about 3 weeks, my band didn't show up until a week before the wedding. Due to the timing, we were unable to get our bands engraved prior to the ceremony, which was pretty disappointing. I don't think The Clay Pot is a bad place, I would just give yourself much more time than you think you need. -

Their selection of rings is just beautiful, though be aware that they are on the pricier side. I had my ring re-sized twice, and the turnaround was very quick each time. Great customer service with just the tiniest bit of attitude--hence the less than 5 star review.
